Altered Beast Fan Fic (Chapter 5 is up): Now adding theme songs.

This is my first attempt at a fan fic so if you're gonna say something let it be constructive criticism and not saying i'm crap at this ok. it's a sort of continuation of the ps2 game altered beast.

After the events of luke custer and his mission at Foret City, the genome mist that covered the town has spread around the world and has mixed with some people's genes. The mutated genes has now give people the ability to transform into beast,like werewolves and other animals and the governments of the world has deemed them as a dangerous threat, mainly because most of the people had their ability unlocked through negative emotions and caused a bit of destruction, so they have had their military capture and imprison them all in a secret underground base and has been monitoring them ever since.[/align]

Right now i need characters to be escapees and some for hunters so if you can help please do fill in the form. The only thing i won't accept is if you put the U.W.H. or anything alien-like as a transformation.

ok so here's my other idea, transforming into a half-beast if you want. it's sort like an not so full transformation to be honest. it's is the only picture i can find as an example.

The genome mist has caused random genetic mutations so people can have the same species as a beast form and/or same E.E. (elemental enhancement).
Also they don't have to be mythical creatures they turn into, they can be animals that live in the world now, for example i am thinking about a hunter transforming into a human/black widow spider hybrid so it can broaden the variety for creatures they can become.

She has, however, developed a secret crush on Kevin, and hopes that he will understand that she loves him.

Biography: Auster was born and raised in a small German town, but eventually moved to a city with his beloved sister. The city soon became there home and they scoured for jobs to make a living. One unfortunate night a gang raped his sister and killed her. Out of pure rage he turned into a Basilisk, killing the gang and imploding their bodies with spikes generated from the ground below. He then exiled himself where he soon met Kevin. After a while he developed a brotherly bond with him. After meeting Stephanie he eventually became friends and developed a bond similar to Kevin, treating Stephanie like his sister.

Earth Armory: Can create weapons out of earth. Along with armor.

Head Regeneration
Multiple senses of sight, sound and smell.

Moves:
He spits vemon like a cobra, making the target blind if it hits the eyes.

The toxins inside his stomach is forced out, and he spews out acid that is able to melt Titanium and Kevlar.

All his heads spin around and spews acid. It's like the previous ability, only with all his heads.

Toxic fumes are exhaled from special "holes" in his skin, which acts like tear gas and poison at the same time.

The Toxins from his stomach are forced out from his holes, making him slippery. Then, it hardens, and acts as a second skin, protecting him from swords and bullets.

Transformation: His eyes change to reptile eyes, his tounge becomes biforcated, and his extra heads burst ouf of his neck and shoulder. Finally, his body is covered with scales, and his arms and legs transform to reptile legs.

Biography: Born in Spain with Spanish parents, at three months his parents moved to Britain. As such he learned English well, with only a few choice
Spanish words. He was brought up somewhat... oddly. His parents rarely stuck to the rules they started with, and altered them lots of the time. One minute they would be giving him ice cream, the next they would shout at him for eating too much sugar. The upbringing gave him a somewhat... odd personality.
His parents died when he was fifteen, they were killed in a hostage situation at a local bank where they were getting money for a plasma television. Strangely, he seemed rather... uncaring of his parents death, when told merely sighed, cheerfully said they were with God now, and started searching for a job.
His mutation was revealed a year later, oddly enough, at a friend's birthday party. They had been playing Truth or Dare and he had gone for truth. They had asked if he had a girlfriend and suddenly a large scorpion (about the size of an average human) was in the room. Naturally everyone freaked out and escaped, leaving him scuttling around the room, then getting bored and exiting the house into the world. He managed to go far away from there as a scorpion and reverted back to human form, where he got a job for a short time at EB Games, before being found and he turned once again into a scorpion, and killed several before turning back into a human and being captured. He was carefully released when the military realized to stop the escapees they needed the creatures themselves. He seemed happy to help, but the military doesn't trust the happy, go-lucky personality and have implanted numerous tracking devices to keep an eye on him. No actual guards though, perhaps due to his poisonous abilities...

Special Moves/Abilities(while in beast form and plz describe them the best you can):
Toxic Claw: Both the stinger at the end of the tail, and the Pincers have a deadly poison in them, able to kill an ordinary human in minutes from a scratch, seconds if a stab. This is passive, so it always works.
Toxin Adaption: A rather odd ability that may show a further improved process of the genome mist, the toxins used by Hilario can in fact adapt against people with an immunity, or who have consumed an antidote. Also, This ability allows Hilario himself to be immune to almost any poison, and no poison will work twice.
Poison Mist: An adaption allows him to spray from his tail a poisonous mist. While It is not as deadly as the toxin on his stinger and pincers, it can be deadly on skin contact and not just in the bloodstream.
Nervo Shot: A toxin that at a mental command can enter Hilario's bloodstream (being the exception to the Toxin Adaption). The toxin in fact speeds his nervous response, allowing him enhanced speed, agility, and mental prowess. However if during the time the toxin is in his body and he reverts to human, it will leave him sick, if not dead.
Poisonous Aura: Even without the poison mist, Hilario has an aura of toxins exuding from his body that attacks the nervous system of nearby creatures, the closer they are the more powerful the attack gets. With concentration this aura can be prevented on being used on nearby allies, but can leave Hilario distracted, and more vulnerable.
Toxin Barrier: Out of every pore of his 'skin', Hilario oozes a toxin that shoots out of the body, before solidifying as a barrier due to certain properties that is given to it as it goes through the skin.
Toxic Bullet: Hilario fires the stinger on his tail like a bullet, usually the shot penetrates right through the skin and releases the toxin, causing almost instantaneous death, very accurate. Although it takes half an hour to regenerate the stinger.


Transformation(how they turn into the beast form): First his skin goes hard and scaly, the tail bursts out, his arms turn into pincer, and finally his 'legs' turn into scorpion-legs and two more on each side burst out of his skin. His eyes also split into 8 beady yellow eyes (like the pic, instead of a scorpion's normal black.)[/spoiler]

"Why have you called me here Doctor" a middle-aged man, dressed in a miliatry uniform, said in a stern voice " have you found the genes which are mutating these people."

 

a meek scientist answered "N-No Commander we haven't, i asked you to come here bec....."

 

"BECAUSE WHAT!!!" he paused for a moment "i gave you the strict instructions not to bother me until then"

 

the scientist handed the commander a file."This is a report confirming that some of the prisoners are developing some sort of elemental-like enhancements, i just thought i should warn you about them"

 

the Commander opened the file at a random page to see a prisoner's profile " Kevin Stout, he was one of the first load of people to be imprisoned and he has lightning abilities, interesting"

 

"should we keep them under surveillance and study their progress Commander" asked the scientist

 

"No i will ask the governments of the world if we can execute them and i'm in no doubt that they will agree with me when i give them this information then we shall execute them in 2 days, till then keep them under tight surveillance that's an order"

 

"Yes Sir"

 

=========Meanwhile at the prisons==========

 

"I wish these new prisoners will stop there crying I need my sleep for God sake"thought Kevin. He got up out of his very uncomfortable bed. and walked over to the electrofied prison bars."hey auster, stephanie you guy's awake at all"

 

"yeah bro, i wished they'd shut up" Auster replied groggily

 

"Me two" yawned Stephanie "what you want anyway"

 

"Listen guys" whispered Kevin "we're going to escape tomorrow night"

 

 

[spoiler= Chapter 1: The Escape-Part 1]

 

The prisons here are nothing like normal prisons, each cell block is like the inside of a beehive with the the prison cells being hexagonal shaped which only contain a bed and a toilet in each of them with electrofied steel bars going horizontally and vertically across the cells. They have a surveillence post stemming down from the roof to the center of the prison and has wind turbines on the roof that go all the way to the the surface of the earth. No one has ever managed to escape the prison they either wind up getting recaptured within a few minutes or is killed on sight

 

Kevin spent most of the day going over the plan he has made, he has been trapped here for 2 and a half years to study every little detail he can see in the prison block just to get his freedom back and he isn't going to screw this up. The other's just waited patiently hoping that they can all escape when the time comes.

 

==========At the Commander's office==========

"Are the preparations complete lieutenant?"

 

"Yes commander, everything is ready for the extermination of these creatures"

 

"Excellent, we shall proceed with the plan in the morning"

 

"Yes commander, we shall eradicate all of these vermins" the lieutenant wickedly grinned

 

=========That night in the prison cells=========

"Ok guy's you ready" Kevin whispers to the others

 

"yup" replied a cheerful Stephanie

 

"whenever you are, Kev" Auster said trying to give the thumbs up through the bars

 

"Ok then lets do it, AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!" as he shouted out lightning covered his body into an orb shape then gradually dissipated revealing a black, long hair werewolf with lightning sparks coursing around his body.

 

He gathered all the lightning he can to his hands and slashed the steel bars several times then lunged out straight at the surveillance post, breaking through the window and started severing the guards and the computers to peices with his claws.

 

All of the electricity suddenly went out.

 

"part one of the plan completed" he thought to himself then leapt straight back to the others and ripped out the steel bars of their cells.

 

"Still can't see why it wasn't me doing that after all the electrofied bars are useless against earth types, right?" auster groaned a bit

 

Kev turned back to himself. "yeah i know but you become the size of a pickup truck, the cells are small and i don't want to end up trying to pull you out of there."

 

"Looks like your beast is gonna have to lose some weight" giggled Stephanie.

 

"Not funny" snarled auster. Kev just smilied at the joke.

 

"erm.. guys, i don't think this was part of the plan" a puzzled Stephanie exclaimed.

 

All around them hundreds of the prisoners made their way to escape the prison, some normal and some in their beast forms.

 

"nope that wasn't supossed to happen" commented auster.

 

Kev just saw this as an opportunity and ran for the exit door with the others not far behind.

 

[spoiler= Chapter 2: The Escape-Part 2]

 

The gang made it to the final floor with no problems at all, along with the others as the tried to escape the life sentence they had been forced to live in.

 

"Glad they haven't got the electricity working yet" and as Kevin spoke those words to lights came on and all security alarms started ringing and all that he could do was just go to the nearest wall and bang his head against it.

 

"Ya just had to say it didn't ya!!" Auster and Stephanie said angrily in unison

 

"I'll try not to next time, ok" sighed Kev

 

"Well we better get going then, right" stephanie announced in a slight commanding voice

 

"Hold it right there!" a soldier shouted

 

A group of soldiers blocked their path in the corridor armed with M16's.

 

Auster was about to transform when he was stopped by Kevin's actions.

Kev transformed into Raiju again only to ripped out a larger water pipe then changed back normal and said "it's your turn Stephanie"

 

She started to get mad and cause the water, that is spewing out of the pipe, to create a pillar of water to erupt from under her to encase her whole body with water then dropping back down with a splash uncovering a beautiful blue haired and blue tailed mermaid.

 

"FIRE!!!" shouted the soldiers squad leader.

 

Stephanie just calmly lifted one arm, manipulating the water into a wall and freezes it making the bullets of the M16's to get lodged into it. She waits patiently for them to run out of bullets then unfreezes the ice to water. Manipulates it to charge at the squad at the speed and ferocity of a tsunami forcing the bullets to pierce through the bodies of the ones who just fire them. Leaving only mutilated humans and a bloody pool streaming across the corridors.

 

"Remind me never to get on the wrong side of her, ok" Kev asked Auster, with a little bit of shock in his voice. Auster just nodded back.

 

Stephanie changed back to her normal self and was surprised at what see did as well.

 

Auster just shacked the image out of his head and shouted "Come on the path is clear now let's go!"

 

" You're right let's go" Kev commanded as he tried to keep the image out of his mind.

 

They ran for a few minutes till Stephanie in a cheerful mood shouted "YAY!!! the exit's right ahead, fre..."

Kevin pushed her but it wasn't quick enough, a bullet grazed her arm and unfortunately hit Kev's right arm. He looked at what was outside, there was tanks, jeeps armed with light machine guns and plenty of militia outside with recaptured prisoners trapped in a caged to the right and left of the military force.

 

Auster was seeing if Stephanie, who was knocked on the floor by Kev, was ok. Auster was shocked to see Stephanie shot at like that and started to get really pissed off. Kev, who is trying to cover his bullet wound with his left hand, walked over to him and said calmly, "I'll look after her it's your turn to have some fun, ok Auster."

 

Auster stood up, nodded his head and ran at the enemy outside in a fit of rage causing the earth around him to crumble, rise and encircle him then the rocks began to attach to his body and creating the rampaging basilisk. He roars with anger and stomps the ground with tremendous forces causing the earth to create spikes piercing through the earth's surface. Impaling any unfortunate victims that are in the path . Blowing up tanks and jeeps setting on fire any soldiers in the blast range, leaving as much for a bloody mess as he can.

 

Meanwhile Kevin has ripped his left sleeve of his shirt from the seams. Ripped that into two pieces and placed one half to covered the wound and ripped the other one to be able to wrap around the make-shift bandage. As he was tying the fabric around the her wound to stem the bleeding, she noticed his right arm had blood running down it.

 

"You were hit with the bullet wasn't you" questioning him with a very stern but caring voice.

 

"Yeah but your the one in pain though so I'll treat you first, after all i do care for you"

 

Those words seemed to lighten her heart, ever since meeting him she had developed a crush for him but he has never noticed it since he was to busy planning on escaping the prison.

 

"There that should do for now,ok" he said as he stood up and helped her up as well. She just smiled back.

 

Auster, with a smile on his face, was on his way back from the destruction he caused.

 

"Well the exit is clear now" he said pleased with himself

 

"So I see, let's head into the forest ahead of us they won't be able to track us very well there" Kevin commanded.

 

They ran off in the direction of the dense forest ahead but Kevin was still clenching his arm still he hadn't had time to bandage it yet.

 

"I hope I don't leave a blood trail" he thought to himself

 

 

[spoiler= Chapter 3: This is just the beginning]

The commander was sat at his desk watching the recordings of the mass escape."How was this possible, this has never been achieved ever since we imprisoned these creatures", he slammed his fist on the desk, "Who is responsible for this?!!"

 

"Commander, before it incident occured the cameras recorded this" the lieutenant stated as he pressed a button on a remote.

 

The video showed a werewolf jump out of a cell and into the survaillence post. It switched to a camera inside the post, showing the security gards getting hacked and slashed by this beast until the lens was covered in blood. The video was turned off.

 

The lieutenant then gave the Commander some files. "It's been confirmed that it was prisoner #027 was the one you just saw and it seems he has partnered with a couple of prisoners as well", the lieutenant switched on another recording showing Kevin, Stephanie and Auster running down a corridor. The video then switched to showing Stephanie and then Auster in their beast forms attacking the soldiers.

"They are prisoners #026 and #028"

 

"Hmmm" the Commander was deep in thought,"I'll look at the files later, in the meantime send all troops to search the area nearby i'm sure that all the prisoners haven't gone very far. Now leave, I have a meeting with the governments soon."

 

"Yes sir" saluted the lieutenant and walked out of the office.

 

The just sat at his desk silently and thought to himself, "To be able to free so many prisoners, prisoner #27 must be very intelligent."

 

===============Somewhere in the forest============

 

"YOU IDIOT!!!!" yelled Stephanie, "why didn't you tell us that you need time to bandage your wound!"

 

Kevin just remained quiet while Auster finished tying a knot on the make-shift bandage using the already blood-soaked right sleeve of his shirt.

 

"Chill sis, i'm sure he has his reasons" Auster said trying to cool her temper down.

 

"Yeah, it's only a bit of blood loss" Kev stupidly replied.

 

"Just a bit of blood loss" she screamed, "your arm is completely covered in your own blood"

 

"she's right bro, i'm surprised you haven't collapsed yet" agreed Auster

 

"I'm fine, let's just find some source of water so I can wash it off then" moaned Kev.

 

===========Few hours later===========

 

It was nighttime now and the gang were weak from hunger, thirst, exhuastion and were reduced from running to just dragging their feet along the ground hoping some luck comes their way.

 

"Guys we should get some rest. It's getting pretty dark now" announced Auster wearily.

 

"But I don't to sleep on the *yawns* floor" a half asleep Stephanie replied,"how about you Kev?"

 

*THUD*

 

"That's fine with .....zzzzzz" the now asleep Kevin could just about utter.

 

The other two sat against trees near Kev and fell asleep soon after.

 

=========Somewhere else in the forest=========

 

"Sergent this is Squad Leader no sign of any escaped convicts in sight"

 

*multiple simultaneous roars*

 

"What was that"

 

A five snake-like heads lunges at the squad grabbing a few men in the jaws.

 

*guns firing*

 

"Squad Leader report"

 

"There's a five headed monster attacking us, send backup. i repeat send backup. AAAARRGGGHHH!!!"

 

"Anybody report your co-ordinates. i repeat report your co-ordinates"

 

 

[spoiler= Chapter 4: Calming before the Storm]

The next morning Kevin got up, unknowingly to him, with the right side of his face covered in mud and his clothing covered in dirt as well(that he did know but didn't bother him). He went over to the others to nudge them awake.

 

"Wake up sleepy heads" he calmly said while nudging them both,"we better get going"

 

*yawns*"morning" Stephanie says before seeing Kevin's face. She starts laughing, waking up Auster then he starts laughing as well.

 

"Bro, you look so funny with all that mud on your face" Auster laughed.

 

Kevin just wiped as much as he could off his face.

"lets just get going" he slightly angrily said

 

The others got up, still smiling, and they started walking through the forest again.

 

=========30 minutes later========

 

"Why didn't you guys wake me up instead of leaving me lying on the the ground" complained Kevin

 

"Well you was out like a light, you just fell asleep there so we thought to just leave you there" argued Auster.

 

"Plus you looked so cute asleep on the floor, just like a baby" giggled Stephanie.

 

"Hahahaha, baby Kevin" mocked Auster

 

"NOT FUNNY GUYS" Kevin was absolutly fuming, "I'm not a"

 

"What the hell happened there!!!" interupted Stephanie. She pointed over to a load of dead bodies.

 

The 3 of them ran over to the bodies. Auster took a closer inspection of the bodies.

 

"They're definately from the military" stated Auster, "but who or what killed them is a mystery"

 

"That doesn't matter right now, lets just take the weapons and keep going" commanded Kevin

 

All 3 of them stocked up with knives, M16s, handguns, grenade and some ammunition then they took off from the scene.

 

========= 3 hours later===========

 

The gang finally found a source of water. It was a clear blue river, full of fish swimming there. The gang were full of relief.

 

"Yay, water!!!" all 3 of them thought and ran to the river. When they got there, they started drinking the water they got in their cupped hands.

 

"Ah, fresh water" the now refreshed Auster gleefully said.

 

"And look there's a source of food here as well" Kev pointed to the fish jumping out of the water.

 

"I'll sort that out" shouted Stephanie before she turned into her siren form. She then manipulated the water carrying the fish out of the river and dropping them onto land.

 

"I've always wanted to use one of these" smiled Kevin as he cocked his handgun and fired at the heads of the fish."I'll start gutting them now"

 

"I'll help" volunteered Stephanie

 

"I'll go look for firewood then" annouced Auster as he started walking futher into the forest.

 

"Be careful then" Stephanie shouted back.

 

"Don't worry I will" Auster yelled back.

 

The 2 of them began gutting the fish using the knives they had acquired earlier, when suddenly Stephanie asked a question.

 

"Kevin", she said slightly shyly,"you know when you said you said you cared for me, what do you mean by that?"

 

"Just like how i said it" he confidently replied,"you're my friend after all and remember when we first spoke to each other. You was so upset with what was happening, so I decided to comfort you and we instantly became friends didn't we. I also promised to protect you and so did Auster. So i'm doing as i promised for my friend"

 

"Friend, is that all he sees me as" she sighed in her mind.

 

"You ok"

 

"Yeah i'm fine, lets just finish gutting the fish before Auster get back.

 

========Futher into the forest========

 

"How hard is it to find some branches on the floor" thought Auster as he tried to find some wood for a fire.

 

*Hissing noises coming closer*

 

"Who's there" shouted Auster. Suddenly a purple liquid flew straight at him but managed to dodge just in time. He looked at a tree behind him and saw the liquid was dissolving part of it.

 

"This is not good" he thought to himself.

 

 

[spoiler= Chapter 5: Massive Battle!]

"Who are you" shouted Auster, "show yourself"

 

Just then a snake-like head appeared in sight amongst the woods.

 

"So you can transform into a sna.." but Auster was cut short from his remark as 4 more heads appeared, one after the other. "You're a hydra?!"

 

The replied with hissing and lunged one of his heads at Auster. Auster just smiled then transformed into the Basilisk. The head just bounced off his body and the head retracted back to his body. One of the heads fire the purple acid at Auster again but he created a wall of earth, which appeared from the ground, and blocked the acid's path. This did not bother the Hydra as the acid dissolved a hole in the wall and was ready to fire the acid again at the Basilisk, suddenly a stone beast jumped through the hole and charged at the Hydra. Catching it off guard as the beast launched itself, jaws wide open and ripped off one of the heads suddenly the hydra swung it's tail at the beast smashing it into small rocks.

 

Auster, in his head, was cheering at the sight of that creature losing a head, unfortunatly the head started to regenerate, every head then simultaneously spewed acid that Auster. Auster to defend himself created a wall again but it was to no avail as the wall quickly dissolved from the acid and before he could move it hit him. He roared in pain as it burned his skin. Auster did his best to fight back trying to create spikes to impale his opponent but that didn't work as the Hydra had somehow hardened it's skin making it to difficult for the spikes to peirce through. Auster reverted back to his human form as he was exhuasted from hunger and was now laying helplessly on the ground. The walked a bit closer to Auster and stared straight into his eyes then spewed acid at him, all Auster could do was close his eyes and face his demise.

 

A bolt of lightning zapped straight through the acid, evaporating it, and blew off one of the heads in the process then a black werewolf standing on all fours stood in front of Auster. Auster opened his eyes wondering why he hadn't died yet and noticed a werewolf standing in front of him.

 

"Raiju" Auster said. The werewolf just nodded to him.

 

Raiju charged at the enemy and jumped into the air ready to strike when he started to be blown even higher into the air then was tackle in mid-air by another Werewolf. This stunned the both Auster and Raiju. Both the wolves landed on their feet then rushed at each other and attacked in a frenzy of claw strikes and biting each other, unfortunatly this left Auster exposed again and the hydra fired acid again from his 5 mouths. Luckily for him Stephanie arrived as her Siren form levitating in mid-air with a trail of water leading to the river and created a wall of water to defend them both. This time though the acid didn't dissolve anything, it just mixed with the water, Stephanie smilied and throw the mixture back at the Hydra. It didn't burn the creature though because the water had diluted it's acidity which only made it irratate the skin a little.

 

Knowing that it wouldn't do much damage to the Hydra using that tactic Stephanie created swords out of water and charged as the Hydra was ready to strike with it's 5 heads. The two fought with great ferocity, snake heads were flying everywhere as she sliced them off using her swords only to face more heads as they regenerated one after the other as well as creating her swords at the same time as they are very fragile. This was going on for a few minutes until it was abruptly stopped by the Hydra spitting venom into her eyes temporarily blinding her only to be struck by it's tail and sent directly crashing into a tree. She just collapsed on to the floor and changed back to her human form, Auster went over to her to check if she was fine. she was still breathing.

 

Kevin saw what happened to her while fighting the other Werewolf and grabbed him, thrown him at the Hydra then jumped in between his friends and his foes. Now it was a 2-on-1 fight in favour of the enemies. He fought valiantly through the strong winds that was created by the Werewolf. He dodged attacks from both of them the best he can, taking a few hits but still stading strong. He was throwing balls of lightning at the enemy, sometimes hitting them. The battle eventually was to much for Kevin as he was trapped in a tornado and being attacked at all different angles by the enemy. His last effort to stop the onslaught was exploding lightning thoughout his body hitting the 2 enemies with great force. The tornado stopped and Kevin dropped to his knees and changed back to his human form. He started hearing voices in the direction of the enemy.

 

"Leave them Voltaire, we have more important things to do"

 

"Fine Alex but they won't be so lucky next time"

 

Then the two of them just walked off into the forest and disappeared. Kevin got up, went to the others and helped them back to the river to rest.

 

Later that night after have some fish to eat, Auster and Stephanie went to sleep to build their strength back but Kevin lay on the floor awake concerned of what just happened. So many thoughts ran through his mind.

Were they the ones that attacked them soldiers we saw before?

"Next time we'll beat them" he whispered to himself then he went to sleep.

ok here's a thought, he gets pissed and causes the earth around him to envelop him and he smashes them to pieces sending decent sized rock at the enemy.
