One was target practice with Multi Arrow.

Second was target practice with Multi Arrow + Awesomeness with Bereaver.

 

Owning the Guild Master is fun. :D

What many people (like you) seem not to understand is that Fable II was just an improved of Fable I. The reason is, Lionhead studios promised more than any platform back in that day could perfom. That resulted in the grave disapointings of some that would actually thought they WOULD make their promises treu. Now i want you to understand that Fable II is just a improved version of Fable I. It is no sequel to the 1st. Seeing as the big fans (like me) had their joy in the battle against Jack of Blades (God fry that bastard) And the creators seem to lack imagination to perform a decent storyline they took all the events that would follow after the death of 'The Great Hero'.

Point is, it is not a sequel.

When it came to Fable: the Lost Chapters, the only part I found difficult was the final battle. If you know what you're doing, you can have a master longsword, full plate armor, and a LOT of skill experience before the Wasps quest in the beginning. I played and beat that game with almost every combination I could and I found the best was to get Physical Shield early, then rely on whatever weapon you want. I tended to use a master greatsword with 3 sharpening augmentations and Skorm's Bow, with Physical Shield, Assassin Rush, and Force Push as the only spells I used with any frequency (and that AoE fire spell occasionally).

 

(Force push was especially nice because in the arena, you could use it to keep upping your combat multiplier even without enemies to hit).

 

Though personally, I thought the hardest thing I did in that game was fighting a frost balverine naked, drunk, and unarmed. That takes a while. Incidentally, getting all the silver keys is a waste. You get one of each gem (including 1 of only 2 amethysts) and a one-handed sword with lightning and fire augmentations and 180 base damage. At least the 25 key chest gave you the strongest armor in the whole game!

Which is? I remember another good combo using the method i would call 'The Brolly'. It was something with Physical Shield and Berserk being at their strongest (Lv.5) You used them both in a row because that way you could take on multiple Bandits or Balverines by using an upgraded Strength Level and relying on my massive amount of Mana, which acted like a second Lifebar.

I believe the armor was called Archon's Armor, a rather shiny armor made from the hide of a platinum troll. You can get it in the necropolis. If you're going to use berserk, I suggest using assassin rush to close distance quickly and (if you're not looking for more exp.) multi strike so you can hit them 5 times in one attack. The only downside to multi strike is that you have to re-cast after every use and only the first hit goes towards your combat multiplier. Berserk was nice for multiple opponents or opponents that can't be knocked down (i.e. Trolls) but otherwise knocking down your opponent and the cooldown time as you change back just lowered your overall damage per second. I'm also fairly certain that spells had a max level of 4 in the original Fable and everything else had a max of 7. By the way, a full mana bar and physical shield were nice, but even with full toughness and health and the strongest armor in the game on top of all that, Jack the Magic Dragon's fireball would take out all your mana and about half your life in one shot. Come prepared. Of course, with physical shield, berserk, time slow, multistrike, and a master greatsword with 3 sharpening augmentations, you could fairly often take him out before he ever attacks.

 

Anywho, a couple of tips. 1st, it's okay if you can't find all the silver keys. Instead, go through the cemetary quest and retrieve the three keys there then hero save and reload from your auto save point before you go through the Demon Door. Repeat as necessary to get as many keys as desired. Also, unless you're big on archery (or village wide massacres) and stealing, only put a 2 or 3 points at most in aim and guile respectively. If you're evil and your evilness quickly, Force Push and Flame Strike are your new best friends, especially as Force Push damages everyone and everything in the blast radius (including anyone who's friendly towards you). Ice Trolls suck, if you don't have to fight them to progress, don't. The evil version of a quest is often easier and pays more. Sneaking is overraterd; buy a high quality bow and snipe them instead. And finally, when in doubt, kill everything in sight.
