Worst Video Game Endings of All-Time

Fable

Either:

1. You have to lose the most powerful weapon in the game just to be goody-two-shoes.

2. You have to kill your sister to keep the above weapon. How's that for your conscious!?

Plus, there's not much to do after Jack of Blades...

Also, any game such as Paper Mario with no post-final boss story line.

MegaMan Zero 4. Such a fnucking Cliffhanger.

Basically' date=' Zero defeats Weil. You're fighting on the gigantic space vessel "Ragnarok". During the fight, Weil bonded himself to Ragnarok. So when you defeated Weil, it caused Ragnarok to explode and fall to the ground. Killing Zero in the process. The ending is both sad and annoying. Because at the very end, it shows Zero's helmet (What's left of it) in a flower field. Then Capcom jumps into ZX. ZX happens 100 years after (If i'm correct) So....what happened in between? They had to have found Zero's DNA somehow if they made Model Z out of it.

It's a Sad/Annoying/Cliffhanger ending.

[/quote']

To answer that, in ZX, there's a point where Vent (the MegaMan) finds a dude who looks like Zero. You fight him and then you get his biometal. (armor) ZX was a good game with a good storyline, although it was pretty much a History of Trunks cop-out. But nontheless, Capcom has you play the game to find out what happened to Zero. it wasn't even a story event, though Zero's biometal is the most powerful.

Back on topic, Half-Life always had cheap clifhangers, so all of the Half-Life games seem sad because they have you play the whole game just to find out you wasted hours for absolutely nothing.

Killing Zero in the process.

Omega' date=' They [i']HAD[/i] to.

X was killed by Elipso(or w/e his name is)

Zero was killed in an awesome final battle to the death.

and Axel, Well, He pretty mutch just fell off of a cliff.

Now that they are dead, They could be revived as Bio-Metals, In a random Power Ranger-esque game. And honestly, Who the hecks idea was it to make a Model W?

"Your not even a Megaman! YOUR A MERE MORTAL!"

*gets shot*

And for the record, I say that Ghosts and Goblins has the worst ending.

"CONGRATULATION! YOUR GAME IS HAPPY END!"

The idea was a scientist who appears in MegaMan ZX: Advent as the creator of Model A. He probably had followers and told them something like "I'll make you powerful," or "This will be the greatest invention and we'll all be rich," or something along those lines.

Also, the Super Smash Bros. Brawl ending, though the story and game were epic, was a little cheasy. I kind of expected everyone to stare at each other and gho like "What do we do now?" and the fight just for the hech of it.

And he made the other Biometals(aside from W), Why?

What else do video game villians make inventions for? Money, fame, riches, revenge, or for domination.

This is why I hope ep 3 will be at least slight more optimistic.

For me, if you played Pariah, the ending was among the most annoying ever (you defied death for so long only to have to kill yourself at the end)
