Toffee.
YAY! I FINALLY BEAT STAR WOLF(the 2nd fight)! And I didnt lose my mind this time(well, not 'completly' lose it) AND I had even beat the game! Yes, The real Andross(The Brain form) Anyway, As far as final bosses go, Andross was actually pretty easy.I just held down L ot R, depending on his position, and just spammed him to death via button mashing. The whole annoying part, Is that hes invincible from the front, And only the back of his brain, At that 1 spot, Is his only valid target :/ It was tricky(I died the first time) but I actually beat him. Now that just leaves those random medals >____>

J-Max
Star Fox 64 is beyond Epic! I loved hearing real voices in a game for the first time. Who could forget classic lines like "DO A BARRELROLL!" or "COCKY LITTLE FREAKS!" I still play it today via the beauty of Emulation due to the fact that it is beyond a doubt one of the finest Shooters ever created. Never got past that damn Solar level though. I also loved the variation of the levels. 1 minute you're flying through Space, the next you're in the Landmaster blasting through a Desert! Also Team S6tar Wolf was the perfect oppisate to Team Fox. I always used to fear Wolf, especially when he said "I cannot allow you to go any further" When I first head that I was "Oh sheet! Who the funk is this guy!?" True gaming Bliss. ragnarok1945
J-Max, the "I cannot allow you to go any further" was the boss at the end of Meteo (the asteroid field). You fight the Star Wolf team in the next level
J-Max
Oops! lol haven't played it for a while isn't that the boss that tries to fake his Death with Falco mentioning "Are you going to listen to that Monkey?"
Flame Dragon
I never played this, but I really want to. In fact I never played a Starfox game. Right now I'm just happy I have 2000 Wii points so I can pick up the game.
ragnarok1945
Yeah, but only if you saved Falco in Cornaria (which during my first times I wasn't able to), otherwise the boss will just say "If this does not work........" It's been years since I played Starfox 64 too, but I've played the game hundreds of times, I've memorized almost every quote spoken by virtually everyone
Toffee.
Now do it on Expert mode. .......The real Andross IS on the harder side*cough* My favorite level is that 1 with the Pirate dude, Whare you have to spam bombs at him. Although, I hate the Aquos level. Slippy: "Hows the Blue Marine fox?"Me: "GET ME THE HECK OUT OF HERE!!!!"Peppy: "Slippy isnt sutch a screw-up after all"
ragnarok1945
That Aqua level was by far my most hated level. Everyone is firing at you and you can barely even manuver (not to mention your torpedoes move WAY too slowly)
J-Max
LOL! I loved the Music to Aquos. My favorite level is (I think it was Macbeth) where you have to blow this Cargo Train up. If you can do it while hitting some switches you unlock the secret exit.
ragnarok1945
Yeah I remember that one. Took me about 3 tries before I even understood what those 8 switched stood for though. Not to mention the first time I got all 8 switches I didn't know I had to shoot the switcher box to switch the tracks
CrabHelmet
Now do it on Expert mode. .......The real Andross IS on the harder side*cough* What does that have to do with anything? My favorite level is that 1 with the Pirate dude' date=' Whare you have to spam bombs at him.[/quote'] What, Zoness? I liked that stage, although the fact that you need to go through Aquos (worst stage ever) to get there was a real pain. My favourite is probably MacBeth. The Slime Lord
Ah, Starfox 64. One of the best games on the N64. I've had that game for over 10 years, and I recently bought it on the Wii Virtual Console. I've beaten it on Expert and beat the real Andross a few times. It's not that easy. I don't remember if you can this on Expert, but when going through the tubes before fighting Andross, you turn right then left or something like that, and you get an extra life before fighting him. You can do that every time you die, so you can never really get a game over. It's nice.

There were two routes worth taking: one gave an extra life but nothing else, while the other gave three gold rings, two laser upgrades, and a bomb. (I think the former was LR and the latter was RLRRLL, but I also think I'm misremembering; the former was definitely either RL or LR, though.) Saturn of Elemia
By far, my least favorite level in the entire game was Sector Z. I HATED trying to get the medal on that stage. Expert Mode didn't make it any better, either. Favorite stage for me had to be the Asteroid Field because of the Warp Zone. That place looked like somebody had a little too much ecstacy....*coughslippycough*
ragnarok1945
This is why you're not supposed to enter that stage from Zoneness. Use the secret location in Sector X to enter it
Saturn of Elemia
Sector Z itself isn't that hard - it's just killing enough ships before the missiles hit the Great Fox. THAT"s what's annoying. Speaking of other annoying stages, Titania did a good job of getting on my nerves as well with all the mines and the boss. ragnarok1945
this is why you ignore your teammates when they ask you to help get the enemy ships off their tail. They won't be able to destroy the missiles.

As if they help you anyway?Last time I was thare, We got out of thare, But Great Fox was without a left wing XD .......And I'm pretty sure Great Fox can take 2 hits, Before a 3rd one kills it
ragnarok1945
No, if a single warhead strikes, it'll blow the wing off. And I was able to save Great Fox from a single hit from my 2nd try onwards
