How come i never heard of some of these heroes?

because, the main aim of this thread, is too create heroes from marvel that lost their appeal to early or were forgotten. Everybody knows the X-men or Spiderman, but who remembers the Black Panther and Quicksliver.

 

Who made what?

As from 14/3/09, me and 'Middletond' joined forces to make "Marvel Hero" cards, also 'Hallelujah Haptism' joined 22/3/09, other YCM members have asked permission to make some cards, such as; 'The Tin Trooper' and many other great contributers :D, you can see who made which card in the bottom of the card where the creators name goes. :)

 

Wheres Batman and superman?

Those are characters from DC comics, a huge rival for Marvel, just like Coke is to pepsi, or Manchester united to another football team (i don't like football).

 

Why use 'Marvel Hero'

Because, much like destiny heroes or elemental heroes, this is a whole new arch-type. with hero related cards, also the hero staples such as 'warrior returning alive' and 'reinforcement of the army' etc. Its just to generalize support cards.

Due to popular demand both on thread and by PM, i am accepting other members to make Marvel cards regardless of stars or REP. As long as the card is worthy of being placed in the gallery and is presentable enough by my standards, it will be displayed.

 

Send me your ideas via PM (make all their codes STAN-EN000)

 

Make sure its a monster/ effect, following the basics of the Marvel hero's shown, make common hero cards (iron man, hulk, spider man, captain America, cyclops, night crawler, magneto, prof X etc.)

 

After checking for OCG errors and finding images if needed, I will place them in the 'legendary' section (which is openly available for other people to make cards for ;)

This card can only be Normal Summoned by Tributing 2 "Marvel Hero" monsters you control. Increase this cards ATK by 200 for each Marvel Counter on this card (max. 5). By removing 2 Marvel Counters from this card, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero The Incredible Hulk[/b]]

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can only be Normal Summoned by tributing 1 "Marvel Hero Bruce Banner" you control with 5 or more Marvel Counters on it. This card gains ATK equal to the number of Marvel Counters on it x300 (max. 7). When this card destroys a monster by battle, put 1 Marvel Counter on this card.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Carnage[/b]]

Each time this card destroys an opponent's monster and sends it to the Graveyard as a result of battle, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card (max .10.). Increase this card's attack by 200 for each Marvel Counter on this card. When this card has 2 Marvel Counters and this card is in Attack Position at the beginning of your Battle Phase, first, you can and must attack all monsters on the field once each with this card (except this card).

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Sabretooth[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 "Marvel Hero Victor Creed" while "Project X" is on your side of the field. Once per turn, during each of your Draw Phases, put 1 Marvel Counter on this card (Max. 6). When 6 Marvel Counters are on this card, remove them all to increase this cards ATK and DEF by 1500 until the End Phase of your turn.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Xavier[/b]]

As long as this card remains in face-up Attack Position, all "Marvel Hero" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Marvel Counter from 1 "Marvel Hero" monster you control to inflict 800 points of Direct Damage to your opponents Life Points.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Magneto[/b]]

Put 1 Marvel Counter on this card each time a "Marvel Hero" monster is Normal Summoned (max. 3). Once per turn, negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monsters by removing 1 Marvel Counter from this card during your opponents Battle Phase.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Weapon X[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 "Marvel Hero James Howlett" while "Project X" is on the field. This card is unaffected by Spells, Traps or Monster Effects. Put 1 Marvel Counter on this card each time you attack with a monster. When 12 Marvel counters have been put on this card, remove them to destroy every card on the field (except this card).

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Spiderman[/b]]

When this card is Summoned, increase its DEF by 200 for each "Marvel Hero" monster you control. This card cannot be destroyed by battle (Damage Calculation is applied normally). During each of your Standby Phases, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card (max 3). For each Marvel Counter on this card, increase its ATK by 400 during each of your Battle Phases. When this card is destroyed, place 1 Web Trap Counter on a monster your opponent controls. A monster with a Web Trap Counter cannot declare an attack or change its Battle Position.

When "Asgard" is face-up on the field, this card gains 400 ATK and DEF. For each Marvel Counter on this card (max. 5), you gain 100 Life Points during your Standby Phases. This card can only be Tribute Summoned by Tributing 3 "Marvel Hero" monsters you control. This card can only be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by paying 2000 Life Points.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Mystique[/b]]

Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 Marvel Hero monster you control, then select 1 face-up monster on the field. This card's Name, ATK, and DEF are treated as the selected monster. During the End Phase you activated this card's effect you can Special Summon 1 "Morph Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 4/ATK 0/DEF ?) in Defense Position. The DEF of a "Morph Token" is equal to the DEF of the highest monster on the field.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Sauron[/b]]

This card cannot be Summoned unless "The Savage Land" is on the field. If this card attacks, put 1 Marvel Counter on a card on the field. When 4 Marvel Counters are on a card, it is removed from play. If the card is a monster, increase your Life Points by the ATK of the monster.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Black Cat[/b]]

If this is the only monster you control when this card inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points by battle, you can add 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard to your hand. Put 1 Claw Counter on a monster that battles with this card. When this card is destroyed, destroy all monsters your opponent controls with Claw Counters on them.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Venom[/b]]

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to a face-up Level 4 or lower monster you control as an Equip Card, OR unequip this card and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, increase the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster by 200 for each Marvel Counter on this card. During the End Phase that this card battled a monster, add 1 Marvel Counter to this card (max .4).

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Symbiote Poisoning[/b]]

This card can only be activated while you control a face-up monster with "Symbiote" in it's name or "Marvel Hero Venom". Every time your opponent Summons a monster, put 1 Symbiote Counter on the Summoned monster. A monster with a Symbiote Counter decreases it's ATK by 300. If you control no monsters with "Symbiote" in their name or "Marvel Hero Venom" destroy this card.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Scarlet Spider[/b]]

This card can be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 "Marvel Hero Spiderman" you control. Put 1 Marvel Counter to this card during your End Phase after this card attacks. When this card battles with a monster, decrease that monster's ATK by 200 for each Marvel Counter on this card.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Scott Summers[/b]]

Each time a "Marvel Hero" monster is Summoned successfully (except this card), put 1 Marvel Counter on this card. During Damage Calcualtion, you can remove 1 Marvel Counter from this card to increase this cards ATK by 500 until the End Phase.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Onslought[/b]]

"Marvel Hero Xavier" + "Marvel Hero Magneto"

This card can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon. If there is a "Marvel Hero" your opponent controls, pay 900 Life Points to treat is as an Equip Spell Card and equip it to this card. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the equipped monster (Only 1 "Marvel Hero" may be equipped to this card at a time). If this card is destroyed, the equipped monster returns to your opponent's side of the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Colossus[/b]]

During your Standby Phase, put 1 Marvel Counter on this card. When 6 Marvel Counters are on this card, it is treated as a Machine-Type monster and gains 2000 ATK and 1500 DEF until the End Phase of the 3rd turn after this card's effect was activated.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Blade[/b]]

This cards ATK is equal to the number of Zombie-Type monsters in both players Graveyards x200. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can remove from play all Zombie-Type monsters in both players Graveyards to inflict Direct Damage to your opponents Life Points x100 for each card removed.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Ronin[/b]]

When there are 3 Marvel Counters on this card (max. 5), you can remove them to increase this cards ATK by 1000 until the End Phase. During the End Phase of the turn you activated this cards effect, decrease its ATK by 750 to make this card cannot be destroyed by battle until your next Battle Phase.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Jean Grey[/b]]

Once per turn, put 1 Marvel Counter on this card. By removing 1 Marvel Counter from this card, you can remove from play 1 card on the field until the End Phase. By Tributing this face-up card with 7 or more Marvel Counters in it, you can Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero Phoenix" from your hand or Deck.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Jean Phoenix[/b]]

This card cannot be Summoned except by the effect of "Marvel Hero Jean Grey". Once per turn, put 1 Marvel Counter on each "Marvel Hero" monster you control. By removing 3 Marvel Counters from this card, you can Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero" monster from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Penance[/b]]

This card can only be Summoned by removing from play 1 "Marvel Hero Speedball" monster you control. This card loses 50 DEF each turn that it is face-Up on your field. When this card's DEF reaches 0, select 1 monster yuor opponent controls and destroy it. Each time this card is attacked sucessfully when it is in Defense Position, increase this card's ATK by 300. When this card is destroyed, you can pay 1000 Life Points to destroy up to 3 monsters your opponent controls.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Dr. Strange[/b]]

This card can only be Summoned by Tributing one "Marvel Hero Stephen Strange" you control. Once per turn, when this card is face-Up on your field, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls and activate 1 of the following effects.

●Descrease the selected monster's ATK and DEF by 500.

●Switch the selected monster's battle position.

●Pay 500 Life Points to return the selected monster to your opponent's hand.

If you choose to select the selected monster as the target of an attack by this card without activating 1 of the above effects, this card gains 200 ATK when attacking the selected monster. When this card is in Defense Position, increase the ATK of each Spellcaster-Type monsters you control by 300. When this card is destroyed, Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower LIGHT monster from your hand.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Namor[/b]]

When this card is Summoned, increase the ATK and DEF of each "Atlantis" monster you control by 400. This card's type is also treated as Aqua. When this card is face-Up on your field, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters, except for WATER monsters. When this card is selected as the target of an attack by a WATER monster, flip a coin. If the result is heads, decrease the attacking monster's ATK by 500. If the result is tails, decrease this card's ATK and DEF by 200. When this card is destroyed, you can pay 500 Life Points to search your deck for one WATER monster, and add it to your hand.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Grey Hulk[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 monster you control with or more Marvel Counters on it. By sending 2 Spell Cards you control to the Graveyard, activate the following effect:

●When the ATK of this card is higher than the DEF of a defending monster, inflict the difference as battle damage to your opponent's Life Points until the 3rd End Phase after activation.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero IronClad[/b]]

When there is a ''Marvel Hero'' on your side of the field with Marvel Counters equal to the amount of monsters you control, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. This card's DEF is equal to the amount of Marvel Counters on this card x500.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Ms. Marvel[/b]]

For each Marvel Counter (max. 3), increase this card's ATK by 200 (max. 3). During your Standby Phase, discard 1 Level 4 or higher monster from your hand to decrease your opponent's Life Points by 500. This card cannot be removed from play.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Loki[/b]]

Put 3 Marvel Counters on 1 "Marvel Hero" you control. After 2 turns, destroy that monster and this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the level of the destroyed monster x300.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Thanos[/b]]

For every Spell Card on the field, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card (max. 5). You can take away 1 Marvel Counter from this card to Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero" from your hand or Deck. This card cannot be Special Summoned by a monster effect.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Blob[/b]]

This card can only attack if there is a Marvel Counter on it (max. 3). This card can switch into Attack Position or Defense Position after it has attacked if the monster it attacked has a Marvel Counter on it.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Hellboy[/b]]

This card can only be Normal Summoned by Tributing 1 face-up "Marvel Hero" monster you control. When this card is Summoned successfully, put 1 Marvel Counter on each face-up monster you control. Each time this card declares an attack, increase its ATK by 300. By decreasing this cards ATK by 500, put 1 Marvel Counter on a face-up monster you control. Once per turn, by removing 3 Marvel Counters from this card (max. 3), destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Scream[/b]]

"Marvel Hero Spiderman" + "Marvel Hero Venom"

Any Battle Damage this monster inflicts to your opponent becomes 0. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Fusion Monster in your Graveyard. Until the End Phase, this card's name is treated as that monster's name, and it gains that monster's effect(s) and ATK.You can select 1 face-up Effect Monster on the field if 1 is not already selected by this card. While you control this face-up card, the selected monster's effect is negated until it is removed from the field. (You can select up to 1 monster at a time with this effect.) This card returns to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Iron Patriot[/b]]

"Marvel Hero Ironman" + "Marvel Hero Captain America"

When this card is Fusion Summoned put 1 "Marvel Counter" it (max. 7). Discard 1 card from your hand to put 2 Marvel Counters on 1 card you control. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. By removing 3 "Marvel Counters" from this card, destroy 1 card on your opponent controls.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Captain Universe[/b]]

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to 1 face-up "Marvel Hero" monster as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, increase the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster to 5000. Once the equipped monster has destroyed a monster, remove this card from play and the equipped monster's ATK and DEF is returned to its original ATK and DEF. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.)

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Black Widow[/b]]

When this card is Summoned, it cannot be destroyed by a card effect. By removing 4 Marvel Counters from this card, you can destroy the top card on your opponent's Deck. If the card was a monster card, place 2 Marvel Counters on this card (max. 7). If the card was a Spell or Trap Card, you can destroy this card or 1 ''Marvel Hero'' you control.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Sneak Attack[/b]]

When your opponent Summons a monster on thier side of the field, you can choose 1 Marvel Hero you control, and attack the Summoned monster with your chosen Marvel Hero. If your opponent's Summoned monster has higher ATK, you can immediately destroy the monster with this card's effect (Damage Calculation is applied normally).

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Green Goblin[/b]]

When this card is attacked by a LIGHT monster, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card (max. 9). This card can attack twice in a row if you control 2 or more ''Marvel Heros''. By removing 5 Marvel Counters from this card, you can Special Summon 1 ''Goblin Token'' (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 500/DEF 500).

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Doctor Octopus[/b]]

Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card. This card can attack as many of your opponent's monsters as the number of Marvel Counters on this card. You can remove 2 Marvel Counters from this card to negate the activation of a Counter Trap Card and destroy it.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Molecule Man[/b]]Once per turn, decrease your Life Points by 500 to destroy a Spell or Trap Card on the field. If this card is destroyed by a Spell or Trap Card, you can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower EARTH monster from your Graveyard. If you do, this card is removed from play.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Moonstone[/b]]

When this card is Summoned by a card effect, you can place 4 Marvel Counters on this card. Every card with a Marvel Counter that you control can only be destroyed by battle. You can only use this effect if all monsters you control are "Marvel Heros"s with ATK and DEF lower than 1500.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Demogoblin[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Summoned if "Marvel Hero Green Goblin" is in your Graveyard. When this card is attacked by a Warrior-Type monster, you can negate the attack if "Zombie Reunion" is on the field. This card's name is also treated as "Marvel Hero Green Goblin".

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Dazzler[/b]]

When this card is Normal Summoned or Set, you can place 3 Marvel Counters on this card (max. 10). When this card is attacked, by removing Marvel Counters from this card equal to the level of the attacking monster, you can negate the attack.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Beast[/b]]

Once per turn, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card for each face-up "Marvel Hero" monster you control. By removing 1 Marvel Counter from this card, increase this cards ATK by 500 Until the End Phase. By removing 3 Marvel Counters from this card, increase this cards ATK by 1500 until your opponents next End Phase.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Joystick[/b]]

When this card is attacked, if it has 5 Marvel Counters (max. 8.) on it, you can negate the attack and end your opponent's Battle Phase. This effect can only be used if you control a "Marvel Hero" with 4 Marvel Counters (max. 10)

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Bishop[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set except by Tributing 2 face-up "Marvel Hero" monsters you control. Place 1 Marvel Counter on this card for each Spell Card you control. By removing 1 Marvel Counter from this card, draw 1 card or randomly discard 1 card from your opponents hand.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Cable[/b]]

This card cannot be destroyed by Spell or Trap cards. If this card destroys a monster, increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 300. For every card in your hand, decrease the ATK and DEF of this card by 200. Durring all of your Standby Phases while this card is in the Graveyard, decrease your opponent's Life Points by 200 and increase your Life Points by 200.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Red Skull[/b]]

If your opponent controls a "Marvel Hero Captain America", this card can only be attacked by "Marvel Hero Captain America" and this card can only attack a "Marvel Hero Captain America". If this card is attacked by a LIGHT monster, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card. When 3 Marvel Counters are placed on this card, search your Deck for 1 DARK "Marvel Hero" monster and add it to your hand.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Sentinel[/b]]

This card cannot be destroyed by the effects of Spells or Traps. If this card attacks a "Marvel Hero" monster, flip a coin. If the result is Heads, destroy the target monster without applying Damage Calculation. At the End Phase of each of your turns, put 1 Marvel Counter on this card. When 4 Marvel Counters are on this card, remove them from this card to destroy one "Marvel Hero" monster on the field.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero The Invisible Woman[/b]]Once per turn, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card. By removing 1 Marvel Counter from this card, it cannot be destroyed by battle until your next Standby Phase. By removing 2 Marvel Counters from this card, inflict 800 points of direct damage to your opponents Life Points.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Electro[/b]]

Put 1 Marvel Counter and 1 Shock Counter on this card during each of your Standby Phases. When 4 Marvel Counters are on this card, remove them and 1 Shock Counter to inflict 500 damage to your opponent's Life Points. When 4 Shock Counters are on this card, remove them and 1 Marvel Counter to increase your Life Points by 400.

DC- As from recent interest from 'Spartan Gio', we have both decided to join a sort of alias, although, he is still competing against my thread, i feel that it will help his thread grow, as i cannot simply take all the victory. That is why, i have made a DC link in this post, he has the same thing in his thread except it says MARVEL, this way, we can link back to one another's threads easier. :)

 

Others- I feel that only the good Pop Culture threads should be all linked, so if i spot a good thread, I offer the ability to be linked here at the cost of advertising this thread (and possibly others) in theirs. Activate only when all monsters you control are DARK monsters. All DARK monsters both players control gain 500 ATK and their atribute is treated as LIGHT. In the next 3 turns after this card's activation, all cards both players control can attack directly. If this card is added to your hand from the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 DARk monster from the Graveyard.
