Guest Star
I don't listen to albums, really. I like a few songs from many different bands, but that's about it. Course of Nature is GREAT, though.
Death Metal
My Chemical Romance. Fail. Fallout Boy. Fail. Paramore. Fail. Linkin Park. Epic Fail. Funny how all the "big" bands nowadays suck.
Tabris
I do have a weak spot for My Chemical Romance, though. But let's add to the bloody list! The Killers. Fail. Coldplay. EPIC... fail. MOAR!!!
Death Metal
We forgot the ultimate phail band. Dragonforce. If you have a weak spot for MCR that's fine as long as you don't make me listen to it xD
Enrise
Funny how the best bands now suck, like really suck. And now the best bands are some bands that suck, or bands that have some good songs, but that's it.
Guest JoshIcy
People buy them, and like them. It must be good, right? It's all about taste. Anyway... I honestly don't know if what I listen to is "todays" music. I just listen to what I like to hear.
Tabris
^ Very well, then: let's make this unto a narrow trench. Music since 2000.
JesusofChaos™
Metal and its sub genres has actually improved in my eyes. However most other genres have gone down hill
The Crimson King
Metal and some rock has gotten better, but rap seems to suck more than usual lately. I mean seriously, what's up with people listening to fake crap that talks about people getting shot, raped, and stabbed instead of talking about emotions and letting out your anger(i'm not emo by the way). Seriously, how does it help listening to something so dumb that it makes you a stupid ass "whacked out gansta" who'se too kool to tak layk a nurmal perhson? RiffMaster Alex
Metal is still good luckily. Jonas Brothers are worse than Dragonforce in my eyes, though they are both simply awful. Most modern "big" bands are horrible.
HORUS
Discuss how putrid and overrated most albums and songs are nowadays. I've seen too many good bands be pushed aside by commercial trash. This. There's a whole bunch of terrible 'mainstream' bands these days, mostly those gay bands that only girls listen to, mostly because the members are good looking. Who gives a funk what the band members look like? I don't even know what the members of half the bands I listen to look like. Neither do I care. The members of Dance Club Massacre look like baka, and I don't give a sheet, because their music is ridiculous. Anyways...today's music. There are some recent metal albums that have come out that I really liked. Most notably Hatchet's Awaiting Evil, Primordial's To the Nameless Dead, From The Shallows' EP, Carnifex's albums, Braindrill's Apocalyptic Feasting, Static-X's Cult of Static, Shai Hulud's Misanthropy Pure, The Red Chord's latest album, Whitechapel's ridiculous sheet, etc. That's some good stuff (what I like, at least.) Cyber Altair
People are hearing to 50 cent way too much. Rap and RnB didn't spoil mainstream and neither did Linkin Park and Coldplay. Shitty people and shittier media, (yes Rolling Stones and MTV) spoiled people's opinions. I also blame horrible Radio Stations and announcers. Now if you'll excuse me I'll have to put up with 1 hour of Leona Louis and Lady GaGa's crap to hear a decent song.

The Crimson King
50 Cent can suck my balls, and then he can become 75 Cent because I'dd pay him a quarter. Quicksilver
2008 was a damn good year for the Australian techno scene. We had Cut Copy, The Presets and Midnight Juggernauts to name a few. I don't listen to radio much, but we have a station that plays a lot of indie stuff, which is helpful for those of us who hate pop, r 'n' b and the bad rap that's released
