*facepalm* You obviously didn't read the first post, as I mentioned it many of times, and included a screenshot.

[align=center]On one hand they provide a good first impression for the threads contents, if it has a 1 star, you know whatever is in it will be bad and a 5 star rating will obviously have some good work.

 

However this cannot always be the case, you do get the odd 'noob' spam rating. And this makes the star rating system pointless.

As much as we want them removed, it won't happen. Apparently YCMaker felt that it helped new members and thus won't remove them.
