And you gotta have the haters to show the world not EVERYONE is the same. Of course, 'all publicity is good publicity'. I like both of them. The best to me? Probably not. Because you see, typically the hordes of followers are the ignorant who mindlessly follow the trends and radio stations that continue to feed us poppy Leona Lewis crap. When presented with good music, such as Iron Maiden, Tool, Dream Theater, etc., many of the "hordes of followers" of Linkin Park will have not heard of these bands, due to lack of current airplay. It's not that we don't "get it"... It's simply that we acknowledge that there is much better music out there. I'm not saying that Linkin Park is a bad band, because they are entertaining, and do have a few good songs. What I'm saying is that there are far too many people who call them the "best band ever". Overrated is okay, but if you're going off their self-titled album, I'd have to say I think Home and I Hate Everything About You are the best songs off the album. Music defined as "Good" is in the eye of the beholder. Why do you think they have genres and such? Heck, even different "eras" of music.
