Seeing how you are new, you don't have many points, so making a contest in the first place was a bad idea, although you did not know better. Reps are Reputation, also found under your post count, join date, etc. They are earned or given for doing various things such as winning contests, helping people, and other stuff. But you have a -1 Reputation, which means you were negged. You also have a neutral rep. Stars are your level. Increase your level by increasing your post count.
