Shradow
Why do you think that they make card effects different in the anime and the real TCG? For instance... Scrap Iron Scarecrow; In the anime, it works twice, then is destroyed. In the TCG, it stays on the field until it's destroyed by card effect, but can only be used once per turn. Does anyone know why? Cin
Some cards get called broken when they're in the anime, and they're usually overpowered to help a character do something. So they need to be watered down when they hit the TCG, sometimes like CyDra the effect in the anime gets modified to its OCG effect. (It moved from all to, just monsters)
Guest
Some anime effects are ridiculously underpowered, some are ridiculously overpowered, and some clash with official card game rules. Each of these three cases requires some sort of change to be made, though Konami often fails to do this properly.
Smeg
Because the Anime in a sence was First then the set came out, so the probably just changed it and all.
