BAsically what the poll says, should Our kids learn this stuff, so there more aware, or should we guard them from it so they dont know it exists and they can find out on their own when their mature enough?

This is intended to be a debate if enough people are on either sides of it. I think children should be taught this so they can be aware of safer sex practices, so they dont make the mistake of being unprotected.

I think so too, and on a basic level, from somewhere around fourth or fifth grade. Just basic things, not in too much detail, but enough to keep them from wondering too much, and knowing enough not to be stupid. xD

Also, I think PARENTS should talk to their kids, but a lot of parents don't, which is why it should be taught in schools early on.

First, why have you made two threads?

Second, yes, children should be tought Sex Education. For the point you said and that if children are aware of these things then maybe they wouldn't 'experiment' as much.

But, I think that sex is something that most children would know about anyway. I knew mostly everything about it when I was about 9. It's not good, I know. The world has too much to do with sex and younger people tend to pick up on it.

Sex Education should be taught in schools in order to create greater awareness of the dangers of careless sex as well as sexual predators. In view of the findings regarding the positive aspects of sex education versus the negative ones, legal approaches would reinforce the necessity of this form of education in schools.

In contemporary times, it has come to everyone’s knowledge through the media that children are not safe, as several of them have been sexually abused. The biggest reason for this happening is not just the working of ill-minded adults who take advantage of gullible children, but also a lack of awareness on the part of parents and their children.

If parents were more aware of how much risk their children are at there would be far greater chances of children preventing themselves from being taken advantage of sexually. The precautions advised consensually refer to educating all age levels of children in order to make them safe. Legal aspects of this understanding reinforce the need for sex education. However, there are views that contradict the societal need for sex education as well as the legal stance.

i now but i mean look at the us a nation with freedom of religion

pledge of adlengence-under god

legal sworn in with a bible

politicial politics always talk about god in there speeches

lets face in the us allthough we mave have freedom of religon were still a cristian socitey

Umm

I dont say the pledge, and If I do, I make childish fascistic comments or state Heil Zion.

You dont have to legally swear under a bible, you can swear on a piece of paper with the word "flying sphaghetti monster" on it if you want to, the point is that you CANT LIE.

Conservatives are to not be trusted xD. And its Americans fault for reelecting Mr. Bush, who refers to his false deity more than daily.

We believe what we will, but it doesnt change the fact that about half the people that are "Christian" dont even know what christianity is, and are easily convinced by me and others into believing in Atheism :)
