[spoiler=a f*** load of quotes]

Nope. Not at all.

I do believe in God' date=' but not reincarnation.

[/quote']

Karma isn't strictly tied with reincarnation. The show "My Name is Earl" best uses it to show the titular character's life improving as he repents for his past misdeeds. This form of faith is found most often in Christian practices.

I prefer to consider it God working in my life, instead of karma.

Dude, I'm devout Catholic, but I still believe that generally what comes around goes around.

It what drives me to not care about whether or not anybody knows I did anything at all.

Heres a word of advice.

Never, NEVER, use religion, as fact in an argument.

It works against religious people.

Total n00bs would post a picture saying, ORLY?? or would just say, "There's a windmill in my beard. Your argument is invalid."

~.~ I wasn't technically using religion as an argument, I was merely presenting my personal case to Realen about someone with a differing view of the world.

Precisely.

Often it does happen that way. I'm not saying it doesn't. I'm merely saying that "karma" is actually God working in people's lives. Why give another name for it?

God plays an important role in the world. Calling it "karma" takes the credit away from God.

God does not need credit for anything he does, for credit leads to fact and fact denies faith. And God cannot exist without faith.

So, if you give God too much credit for stuff in the world, then you start using that as facts that God exists, therefore God dissappears in a puff of logic.

(Which also explains how Atheism is a paradox)

Plus God is perfect and can't have an ego

I would like to merely point out that if God exists then Karma would not be taking credit away from him seeing as he would have created the energy (subjective energy mind you) that is referred to as Karma in the first place. If you are a devout christian (of any type), saying Karma exists is merely saying that your God was crafty and came up with a system that requires him to do less work rather than work his perfect ass off.

But there is no proof for karma, neither is it mentioned in the Bible.

Karma is a completely man-made belief.

And God isn't?

I would like to propose that Karma is very plausible. Assuming that cause and effect is real (which it is) when you do one thing you cause another thing to happen which causes another thing to happen which causes another thing to happen.

However Karma preaches that you have the choice when the selection from which you choose from confronts you, which contradicts the traditional idea of Karma seeing as if anything was to cause such things to occur rapidly and continuously then your choices would be pre-determined because of the things that have happened before to make you choose the choice that you chose.

So it's plausible but flawed.

Your 1st question: No. God revealed Himself to people in the Old Testament to men such as Moses, Elijah and others. (Not to mention that Jesus, who is God, cam to earth to live among us.)

In your argument about karma and how it could be real, it could. There are things in this earth that are invisible to us humans, karma may be one of them. However, since karma is not mentioned in the Bible, and since the belief in it was created by man, it is most likely not real.

Most things in the bible aren't real. Wrong. Every single thing mentioned in the Bible is 100% true.

The belief in the bible was created by man. True, because.. (see above reason)

Religion was created by man. I don't know if that is perfectly true.. People worshiped God because they knew he existed.

Belief itself was created by man. True. You may choose to believe or not, thus, belief is created by man.

Just because the bible doesn't mention it and man made it doesn't mean it can't exist. :/ Things made in people's imaginations most definitely are not true, unless inspired by God.

Without faith' date=' God is nothing

[/quote']

Completely, utterly wrong.

If we don't believe in God, He doesn't just disappear! He exists and influences our lives even if no one believes in Him. He is always there.

Is God karma...

That's up to you to decide.

I don't think so. At all.

God can only influence those who believe in Him.

If you have no faith in God, then none of his actions can be attributed to Him, and He is nothing in the eyes of his creation.

God influences everyone's lives. It's up to us if we attribute our lives to God or not. God being weakened by us not believing in Him is completely untrue. God's power is not limited at all, nor to that extreme a degree.

It's up to us if we believe in Him. He exists forever whether we believe in Him or not.

Each action has a consequence of some sort, in one way shape or form.

So it is only natural that bad actions result in Bad things happening to you...

Way to go religion for giving Logic a name. ._."
