Only a few parts of Ganon's Tower were annoying - like the Water Temple and Shadow Temple part. The rest weren't that bad. Make sure to go to the Shadow Temple part first and get the Golden Gloves. Once you do that, leave the palace and go to the large pillar outside and visit the Fairy Spring. You'll get your life doubled - which is going to help BIG TIME!

Also, ever realize something about a few of the character names in Ocarina of TIme? There are some that are making references to towns in Zelda 2 for the NES. Here, I'll show you (if you don't already know):

RAURU

Zelda 2 - First town in West Hyrule where you get the spell 'Shield'

OoT - Sage of the Temple of Light

RUTO

Zelda 2 - Second town in West Hyrule where you get the spell 'Jump'

OoT - Sage of the Water Temple and Princess of the Zoras

SARIA

Zelda 2 - Third town in West Hyrule where you get the spell 'Life' and must pass through to reach Death Mountain

OoT - Link's Kokiri friend

MIDO

Zelda 2 - Fourth town in West Hyrule where you get the spell 'Fairy' and the Downward Stab

OoT - Boss of the Kokiri

NABOORU

Zelda 2 - First town in East Hyrule where you get the spell 'Fire;

OoT - Sage of the Spirit Temple and second in command of the Gerudo

DARUNIA

Zelda 2 - Second town in East Hyrule where you get the spell 'Reflect'

OoT - Sage of the Fire Temple and leader of the Gorons

The only town NOT referenced from Zelda 2 in Ocarina of Time was Kasuto (There are 2 towns named Kasuto - one is hidden in a forest in the east where you get the spell 'Spell' and the Skeleton Key' and the other is an abandoned town to the west of the Sixth Palace location where you get the spell 'Thunder' if you have the other 7 spells)

My Top 5 Zelda Games

1) Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

No.

I am at the Ice Cavern in OoT.

The "boss" dies in one hit. O' date='x

I just restarted my OoT game again and just reached Jabu Jabu. It's still as annoying as ever to navigate inside that fish while carrying that ungrateful spoiled brat around...

It makes for great parodies, though. And Barinade is fun.

Frankly, though, that's nothing compared to the carpenter search. The miniboss Gerudo are really fun, true, but trying to find them...?

I think the idea is that these towns would be named after the Sages in question. LoZII takes place last' date=' after all.

[spoiler=My Top Five Worst Zelda Games']

1, 2, 3: The CD-I ones.

4: II.

5. IV.

[spoiler=On-Topic Epic Win]

This. It's completely dead, but what's there is win.

@Supreme Gamemaster

1) What's wrong with Zelda 2 again?

2) Yes, the Jabu Jabu experience makes for great parodies

3) The Gerudo experience IS more annoying, I'll give you that. At least you had a MAP for Jabu Jabu...

4) Story-wise: Perhaps, but maybe not considering some of the locations of the towns in Zelda 2. If that were the case, then the harbor town of Mido in Zelda 2 would've been named Ruto instead. (Could go on about that, but won't bore you unless you want) Also, the name Kasuto was never mentioned in OoT - which makes me wonder.

Game-wise is what I was going on.

Lol, make sure you buy all needed supplies so you don't run out of something in the Water Temple. Thank God that Serenade of Water is existing, otherwise we would have to go to the temple on foot.:P

Unfortunately, the story doesn't continue after you beat Ganondorf. However, you can always spend some time finding all of the items, collecting pieces of heart and completing your unfinished requests.;)
