Rid the Introductions

I thought it through, and the introductions section is a spot where users can continuously increase their post count for nothing. I realize it is important and bla bla, but I saw a user (not telling who) who only posted in the introductions. Who is with me to remove the introductions section?

I do not. The Intro section cuts down on the "hi, i new here. how do you post cards?" posts in other sections. (Now if new members would only post there...)

i am not also,if you only want to delete it because people can earn post counts,isn't it much better just to remove post counts in that area?

 

and it pretty much does the same thing as removing post counts from it so it violates one of Crab Helmet's rule

You obviously have no reasoning skills at all. We do not need to remove it entirely from the board. In fact, that would be the worst idea imaginable. If we get rid of the Introduction section entirely, then people won't be able to introduce themselves. If we remove the post count for just the introduction section, then we can keep the section and it would still have the same amount of activity as it does now.

 

The bolded is a perfect example of deductive reasoning. Try to learn from it.

This sort of thing is covered by the sticky. YCMaker likes the Introductions section, and it isn't changing anytime soon.
