Bunter Dwayne
We really shouldn't...Needle Worm only works well against old Decks that hate cards in the Grave.

Nothing hates cards in the Grave. Needle Worm is a fun card' date=' guys. lol@the irony of using Needle Worm, Only to get 2 of the 5 cards removed for Chaos Sorcerer[/quote'] Chaos Sorcerer is far from the only thing you'll be worrying about. Reborn, Treeborn, Dandy, Malicious, Plague, Wulf, and much more. All Needle Worm does is benefit your opponent.
MarbleZone
I can't help but think the game is messed up when losing 5 cards from your deck is great for you. I mean, I didn't follow Yugioh since its beginning, but I assume, especially judging by how high a price it has reached in the past, that this effect actually used to hurt your opponent, yes? Or has it always been as useless as it is now?

Lazer Yoshi
Well, sending cards to the Graveyard from the Deck USED to useful. Now, you got DAD, LS, and so many others that benefit from cards in the Graveyard.
「tea.leaf」
I though JoC knew better... I've never really assessed deck counts after the game, so I don't know what milling 15 would do for the opponent.

It may not have helped the opponent like it does now, but it didn't hurt them - worst-case scenario, they lose a searcher target or something. Not even close to a big deal. Guest PikaPerson01
If you're really so afraid of LS, just use Threatening Roar. They'll probably mill themselves for game when they assume they're going to swarm for game. <_

Tronta
it runs effectively in my silly mill deck. also, a note, in theory, obviously, more milling would help an ls deck.but its a slippery slope. a good ls duelist measures his deck's cards on some level. those remaining, those discarded, etc. its not just about having 4 in the grave. theres a delicate balance to it. a bad ls duelist can easily be limited by the size of his deck, because he plays recklessly and with no regard to the actual mill. needle worm is actually somewhat effective against ls (if you can stop judgment), because it disrupts the pace of the mill. just like slowing down a gb deck screws with it, messing with the tempo of an ls deck can have some very negative side effects.obviously you cant just mill for him though, the player using needle worm and whatever troll deck has to be able to take control of his opponent's deck away from his opponent.a lightsworn player who has lost control isnt too hopeful about the outcome. this card isnt just about milling sirs, its about taking control away from your opponent. and that ability, in the hands of the right duelist, is quite effective. Guest PikaPerson01
While I agree that it does harm them if they mill too fast, the LS duelist won't actually lose the duel until his next draw phase. If they already swarmed so fast that their deck is at a dangerously low level, milling 5 won't do anything, since they already have a swarm ready to attack for game.
