Suggestion: Name Changes

Imo, I think everyone should be able to change their names, mods/admins can do it because when they become higher up in the staff, they get that feature, and I find that unfair. Also, to keep it from getting out of hand. There could be a limit of 1-2 changes per day.

Things would get really complicated, disorganized and out of hand if everyone constantly changed there names. Mods get it because they've proven that they're responsible and wont change it daily. I think pm'ing YCMaker is still the best way to do it, that way not everyone can change there names constantly,and we know who's who.

Actually it is pretty Fair...If we had the ability to do that, people would change their names very often, making them unidentifiable and hard to get used to!

Maybe they can change their names once a month if they haven't been banned in that month. That would make things a little less confusing.

Exactly. Mods have that ability because they're responsible members.

Yugioh forums gives you TWO name changes every two weeks.

 

Sals runescape forums gives you something like 1 every 3 months or 2 months.

 

I think ONE a month is fair, but you should be required to, for 4 days, change your username title to "I used to be *old username here*"

I think you should be allowed once a week but then you must add your old name to your sig or something

No. It won't work. The moderators won't like it. People will get confused eventually.

Yes, it would be too confusing unless name changes were kept at a bare minimum of say 1 or 2 letters XD. Can anyone say, "Mod Kaze"?

THey are not given to Elite Members aswell because, anyone can get up to Elite Member easily... Some people can get to Elite in a week

It's alot easier to tell a mod apart from a normal member... Besides, it won't happen again, as we have reason to believe that bhim has become corrupt or his account has been stolen. His moderation status has been revoked by YCMaker.

 

If ANYONE makes a post about taking over his position, it will not be taken lightly.
