Huntar!

An egotistical comedian with a simplistic view on a complex issue. Of course it's going to appeal to the masses' date=' nearly everyone on the world is an idiot.

Including you. That is supposed to be everyone in the world. You just proved your own point. I'll probably have to wait until its on TV or something to see it, but I really want to. It looks great.

well, it depends if you treat it as "is there god or is there no god? rather than treat it as a psychological issue and say "why do people believe in god, why do people want people to believe in god, and what is the impact of religion on the world"

also, I was too lazy to caps

A minor mistake doesn't make you an idiot, unless of course the judge is some overly-critical and cynical fool. At any rate, it would make more sense if people were on the surface of the world, rather than lying in the center of the mantle.

@Hunter: It's simplistic if you're a radical. Extremely religious people and extremely atheist folk think that their view point is absolutely correct and that's all their is to it. Once you start looking into the views of both sides it gets more interesting and complex.

Religion can be understood without really trying to understand it.

From a literal standpoint, yes. Religion was created to explain the unexplainable, maintain order, show how one should live their life, or because the actual event happened(debatable). From a philosophical point everything gets much more complex. At any rate, the movie can only be taken from a comedic view, and even then, it isn't very funny.

When I saw the previews for this movie I realized that it would be like the Ku Klux Klan making a movie about how rediculous black people are. The freedom of speech has gone too far.

There is no "too far" with freedom of speech. If I want to stand on my roof and yell "Hey K!kes and N!ggers! Go back where you came from!", I shoul dbe able to.

There should be a limit to the freedom of speech. For example, Deadlycreampuff walks into a bank, hoping to make a transaction. Deadlycreampuff gets angry and yells, "Everyone on the ground! I am robbing this place!" Deadlycreampuff gets arrested due to what Deadlycreampuff has said.

You're disproving what you're trying to say.

Short of slander and causing panic, there should be no limits on freedom of speech.
