Umbra
I think a lot can be read from Aizen's monologue in 420. Aizen refers to himself as a "three-dimensional being", and others as "two-dimensional". This, I believe, could be visioned as a graph, with one's Hollow powers on the y axis and the Shinigami powers on the x axis. The Hogyoku's powers could be considered unreal numbers. Ichigo's power and the baka, however, stems from his own soul, and would expand on the z-axis. Thus, his power is in an entirely different dimension compared to everyone else's. Phantom Roxas
Aizen's final evolution turned out to be Swords of Revealing Light. The only downside to this chapter was that we never saw Aizen's bankai.
Blake
Aizen's final evolution turned out to be Swords of Revealing Light. The only downside to this chapter was that we never saw Aizen's bankai. Dude, I don't think he HAD Bankai. I think he got Kyouka Suigetsu, his Shikai, then pretended to have a water Zanpakuto, with Shikai and Bankai. No Bankia for him, IMO.
Βyakuya
Dude, I don't think he HAD Bankai. I think he got Kyouka Suigetsu, his Shikai, then pretended to have a water Zanpakuto, with Shikai and Bankai. No Bankia for him, IMO. He said to Unohana and Isane that his zanpakutou means "Mirror Flower, Water Moon". It resembles water and reflections sealed in the blade, and whoever sees it gets caught in the "mist", and when it is shattered, the moonlight reflection is revealed as truth and it can pretty much hypnotize the senses. And If Aizen had bankai, it would be OPed, and Kubo would think it's a waste of time since he had the Hogyoku already. Correct me if I'm wrong. Blake
... Unohona said "But, we saw you use a water type Zanpakuto!" or somethign similar. He pretended to have an Ice Zanpakuto until that point, where he revealed otherwise.

I thought she said that Aizen had said it was just a water type zanpakutou, or he disguised his true powers.
Blake
... That's what I said. He pretended to have a Water Zanpakuto, and then it was revealed otherwise, so he might not have Bankai. Also, look at the pic of Kyouka Suigetsu's Shattering on wiki. It shows ice that then shatters.

Umbra
If I recall correctly, Kyouka Suigetsu's name (Mirror Flower, Water Moon) is meant to describe how both a flower in a mirror and a moon reflected in water are things that can be seen, but do not exist - much like Aizen's illusions. And for the record, it was Isane who talked about what Aizen said of his Zanpakuto's abilities, not Unohana.

Well I can see where you're going, but Isane and Unohana were the first to witness the true release of Kyouka Suigetsu itself.
Flame Dragon
So I didn't like the ending that much. baka was a let down. Really, it was just a sea of black that made a massive cut. It's cool at first, but it really should have been more. Then where did Kisuke come from? Really was he just watching the whole time. I didn't buy Azien having taken him out that fast, but he just came from no where and why did you play dead? I hope the next chapter says why. Last I don't like how Azien "died." It was basically an ass pull. Why did the Hogyoku stop liking Azien, because Ichigo was beating the crap out of him? Gin almost killed him and it saved him that time, what changed. Was it because of Azien's metal break down (that was fun to watch btw), and that wouldn't be that bad. But how does having a metal break down make him weak? Ichigo was just stronger, but some how still couldn't kill him with his strongest move. Really for the final boos of the series (cause it looks like he is) the ending wasn't that good. I might be being to critical since I wanted a bigger finish, but ATM the last fight didn't end on a high. Still I'm not going to call it bad. Phantom Roxas
In fact, since Ichigo lost his powers, the Hogyoku easily could have just keep giving Aizen evolutions, and adapt to Kisuke's kido.
Umbra
Since when were you under the assumption that he "played dead"? He could easily have been knocked out or otherwise incapacitated by Aizen's attack, but you have to remember someone. Unohana, Captain of the Fourth Division and thus the most skilled healer in all of Soul Society, is in Karakura Town at the moment. She could easily have restored Urahara to usable condition. I think the Hogyouku kicked in thanks to the Final Getsuga Tenshou. It put Aizen below a point where it couldn't fully regenerate him without destroying itself, and thus didn't. It even used up some of Aizen's reiatsu in the process, obliterating Kyouka Suigetsu's physical form. Or, going on from that last string but in a different direction, Aizen has now done what Ichigo did and became one with his Zanpakuto; what we're seeing - or what Aizen wants us to see - is the manifestation of Kyouka Suigetsu, where Aizen becomes Kanzen Saimin. What? And I somewhat agree that the baka may seem a little not much awesome or epic lookign themn it seemed. But it's possible Kisuke follow Ichigo by a Senkaimon Gate. Umbra
What? And I somewhat agree that the baka may seem a little not much awesome or epic lookign themn it seemed. But it's possible Kisuke follow Ichigo by a Senkaimon Gate. Kanzen Saimin is Kyouka Suigetsu's Complete Hypnosis technique, similar to how Getsuga Tenshou is Zangetsu's technique. He's undergoing the same transformation as Ichigo, thus he becomes Kanzen Saimin when using his ultimate power. Also, this week's episode contains massive amounts of Ninja!Tousen.
