It might have been on some other Arc, but I could have sworn that it was the Bount Arc.

*EDITED*

I just found this.

"Here is wiki quote: While Soul Society is considered the afterlife, people are not immortal by any means, though aging is slowed to such an extent that lifespans of 2000 or more years are not unheard of. Such ages, however, are usually limited to shinigami or other Soul Society dwellers capable of manipulating spirit energy. Children can even be born as they are in the human world. People can be killed as regular humans are, though they are capable of surviving wounds that would normally be considered fatal. A soul that dies in Soul Society is reincarnated on Earth as a new human with no past memories.[3]

THEORY BASED ON 408

The Dangai isn't an "in-between dimension"' date=' but a completely different dimension in itself. Soul Society has also been shown to have a different "time density". Remember what Rukia said in the first chapter: "Despite my appearance, I have lived ten of your lives!" Therefore, time goes ten times slower in Soul Society compared to the real world. Barragan's Respira creates a zone with an extremely low time density, accelerating the flow of time.

[/quote']

It could also be that as a soul she, and others in Soul Society, just ages slower.

You do realize that nothing in my theory contradicts what you just said, I hope. They age slower because time goes slower.

EDIT: I just now watched the episode, and wholyshiftBarraganIsStillAwesome.

That kind of came out wrong. As a soul they age at a normal rate it's just because they are souls it take longer for them to really show any aging. It has nothing to do with Soul Society.

So, what you're saying is this: They age normally, because they're souls, but they don't age normally, because they're souls. :S

Age and physical appearance are tied together. Soul Society residents don't age as fast as people in the real world do. While one year passes in Soul Society, ten years pass in the real world. Rukia is 17-ish in Shinigami years, but 170-ish in real world years.

SHIFT OUT OF THEORY:

Isshin and Ichigo will be staying in the Dangai for some time. Will Isshin sport an impressive beard when they get out?

Age and looks aren't tied together. With that logic you'd have to say in real life, the people who look 30 are 30 when they could be 50. Which we do have those types of people. The Japanese, Chinese and Koreans are like that. So they could have a long life-span, but their skin doesn't have to CHANGE along with it.

But I already posted what happens cause it came from the Manga/ Anime.

That people in the SS and the Soul Reapers, can control how they age. They can manipulate their Spiritual Power in-order to look young when they are old, or look old when they are old. Not everyone is SS can do it. They have to learn how to manipulate it, first. So that is why a lot shown, mainly people that aren't Soul Reapers, age.

Meh, I bad with words. Any way I think I just found a bigger hole in your "time passes slower in SS" theory. In chapter 57 Urahara says they have 30 days to save Rukia. When he plans the time he counts both time in the real world and SS the same. If time moved slower their then they time in the real world would have counted for less.

Also they count a month as a month in SS.

Remember, when, during the SS Rescue Arc, Chad fought that one Captain who's always laying around? He said that it's impossible for a friendship to be made in 'that short of a time' when Chad told him that he was there to Save Rukia when he told Chad that she was only there for a month. If it were longer in time as was being said, a Month there would be pretty damn long. He acted as if it's short there as it is in the world of the living.

Alright, you got me. I've run out of arguments for the SS part. Their time density is the same as the real world's, and Hueco Mundo's. This leaves a plot-hole in the slower aging, though.

However, I still consider the Dangai to be a different world altogether, rather than a borderland-esque realm.

Also, what is Isshin doing, exactly? Is he using his reiatsu to STOP TIME?

I thought he was using it to stop a new blob thing from showing up/reforming.

One thing I'm kind of tired of is the constant "I anticipated this from the start." Followed by "I knew you would say that, so I prepared this." Then "Oh no! Just kidding, I saw that coming too."

Don't know if anyone's said it already, but I'm sure that Aizen destroyed the Koutotsu (?) so that Ichigo would be able to train in the precipice world. For his own needs.

I can tell already you would NOT like Liar Game. The above happens about once per chapter, especially in the latest arc.

So Episode 276 came out. Frankly' date=' Soi Fon's bankai really isn't great. It only shoots giant missiles only used at only 3 at least. Really, it doesn't have any use of "assassination", or anything else physically special

[/quote']

That's why she doesn't like it

As you said all it is is pure power.

So it proves Ichigo's Zanpakutou has 2 different lving souls. The Shikai and the bankai, which is quite unkown. Isshin holds the Engetsu, which seems similar to zangetsu, but how come that business guy see Aizen and Gin? They're spiritual beings unless something happened to them

They are not 2 different one's. They are one and the same.

But he is younger when in Bankai. Notice the hair is the same, the eyes too. He just is younger and the hair is a bit shorter.

Also what they both want to protect are two different things. I figured what Tensa Zangetsu wants to protect is Ichigo, and what Ichigo wants to protect is everyone else around him.

So, I figured he has to learn that he has to protect himself in order to protect everyone else. So that is why Tensa Zangetsu is fighting him, so he can protect himself against his attacks.

Tensa Zangetsu is a Younger Zangetsu. A powerful one, a faster one. He is like Ichigo I'm thinking. Young, strong, fast. Rushing into battle. So if he can protect himself against himself, then he is bound to learn something here soon.

I think Zangetsu is Ichigo's Calmer, more perceptive side, while Tensa Zangetsu is his protective, always rushing into battle side; and last but not least, his hollow side is his fearful, yet beastly (animal-istic) side.

Any of this make sense to you all?

I guess so, in terms like these.
