Aerion Brightflame
[spoiler=Spoiler]None of it was that bad. Everyone knew Gerard would survive, that's basically a given for the Elite ritters. Kenpachi exerting too much power in that form is entirely reasonable given he's only just gotten Bankai. Hell, he only just got Shikai. Think back to Ichigo vs Byakuya, or Byakuya Renji. The latter talked about control required to wield bankai, and the second had Ichigo almost killing himself with his Bankai's spiritual pressure. So Kenny exerting too much power and injuring himself is not a cop out as such. Now Hitsugya growing up when his flowers break is less of an asspull as it seems. Toshiro has never actually stated that all the petals shattering means his bankai runs out. Iirc it was Shawlong who made that assumption and Hitsugaya never commented upon it. It makes him always going Bankai immediately make more sense because of this essentially 'seal' being lifted. Additionally, Hitsugaya has not had a real chance to show off his post Aizen training. He has fought a Fullbringer (LoL), lost his bankai once, absolutely creamed Cang Du with it back, whilst heavily wounded, and then creamed Ikkaku and Yumichica, and Mayuri as a Zombie. So him having a power-up this arc is fine, because he technically hasn't had one. The chapter did feel short as funk though.

Ryusei the Morning Star
Ok I looked through the Harribel fight. Nowhere does he mention his power vanishes if he loses the petal. He noted he might not have control over who he kills
Fusion X. Denver
Giant Thor's almost down, but I'm guessing not just yet. Byakuya has to show off his newest upgrade too before we transition to a new fight. How many Quincies are left?

Aerion Brightflame
Don't count on it, remember Lille survived a lot worse Fight Length in terms of chapters. Lille, Pernada and Askin all had like 7-9 chapters in there fights. Gerard is at 10. It's pretty likely this or the next chapter will be the end unless he wants to stretch it for no reason to bring in like Shinja's Bankai or something? Which would be a waste since we have had new techniques from 7 characters, including a new Bankai, and a new final form for Toshiro. And Byakuya even used Senkei for like the 3rd time ever. It's a good place to wrap things up.
Fusion X. Denver
I'm not actually opposed to Ichigo and Inoue tag-teaming Yhwach. Mainly I want to know whatever new skills Ichigo has from his new Bankai.

Fusion X. Denver
Lets hope Azien wasn't BSing about Orihime's time reversal abilities...............That would explain why Kubo put her there for the final battle. Unless this isn't the final battle and things happen in between again before the final final showdown, but hopefully it's not that.
shadowsapex
Latest chapter is super disappointing. But Ichigo is a quincy :3He doesn't know the Quincy flying technique. I think it's too early for the final battle. Ichigo needs another powerup, if not a training montage.

Fusion X. Denver
I think it's too early for the final battle. Ichigo needs another powerup, if not a training montage.Which bums me out, because we don't even have a proper sense of scale for how Ichigo's power changed. This is his first fight since getting new shikai/bankai and we're not getting a sense of growth/weakening or any sort of change because it's just being curbstomped. Wizarus
Didnt Ichigo get off paneled by an Elite? Going by that, its not surprising he doesn't stand a chance .
