Flame Dragon
Heres the thing though, I don't feel like that killed all them that didn't get brought up with Yhwach. Not only that this chapter was ANTI progress, since I'm sure everyone would have been content to just have the people on the ground, who amounted to like 3 or 4 guys, beaten off screen. As such all this did was reset to where we were 2 chapters ago. Also, we have the problem again of leader just throwing away his minions. Sure, his reason is better than Aizens, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Wizarus
Oh it does alot more than reset the story 2 chapters back. It instantly makes all those characters that were meant to get screen time obsolete. Ukitake, the "CC" Kyo, Grimmy, and more just got shat on this chapter. It also brings a bit of pointlessness to the previous fights.
Flame Dragon
I'd argue those fights still have a point since Yhwach was using them as a distraction. However someone like Bazz B who was actually built up was just pushed to the side, and unlike the rest he was still fighting. Yea, this chapter was just bad. Astro Dude
I would read that, yes.Okay then. Ahem. Tonight we say goodbye to an anime that is normally seen on Toonami. From October 5th 2004 (The airdate of the very first episode in Japan) to November 1, 2014 (The airdate of the last episode dubbed) Bleach is an anime that we as the anime community have grown up with for ten years. In fact this thread has been dedicated to it. This series has had some well known and iconic voice actors. From former Black Ranger Johnny Yong Bosch to Haruhi Suzumiya's Wendee Lee and anyone in Viz this series has provided us with a dive into the supernatural, comedic moments and even some strong moments. Moments that bring tears to our eyes, moments that remind us of those we lost, moments that make us regret the decisions we made, this anime has it all. Characters were good too from the totally awesome Ichigo Kurosaki, to the hateable Souske Aizen and others like the goofy Orihime, uber serious Uryu, psychotic Mayuri, more serious Hitsugaya, busty Rangiku, likable Yoruichi, serious fanfirl Soifon, emotionless Byakuya, etc. We all have our favorite moments from the anime like the meme known as the Orihime leekspin and Mayuri's epic speech on perfection. Every moment can either put a smile on your face or make you hurt inside. With one final episode left, it's as if we must say goodbye to a small part of ourselves. But when the anime is rebooted we will say hello again. Until then, farewell. May the Soul Society, never close it's doors. How's that? ConfimredWait, what? When did that happen? It probably won't be dubbed. Anyway, it's time. Everyone ready?
Flame Dragon
Confimred Makes sense since Bleach still does sell decently and with how Kubo writes the anime only needs like a year to finish up this arc. Wait, what? When did that happen? It probably won't be dubbed. Anyway, it's time. Everyone ready? That would be silly. Bleach has a huge fan base in the west, so not dubbing it would be dumb. Sleepy
When a show establishes a force that comes from within the characters, it doesn't usually change and becomes the power that the universe is measured by.Dragon Ball Z's Ki, Naruto's Chacra, Shaman King's Furyoku, Jojo's Ripple/Hamon, etc. and when they DO add something different, it usually is explained as much as possible to justify it prior to the happening. Naruto's Sage energy was built up a lot. Dragon Ball's use of magic way very minimal and had a different purpose altogether, One Piece's Haki was foreshadowed as far as back when Sanji first joined the crew, and has been well established ever since as something that's actually more "natural" than the devil fruit powers. But Bleach? nonono, Bleach now says Reiatsu/reishi/whatever it is called, the characters' very spiritual energy and therefore life force and power on itself throughout the series is not really "power", so it now has a new kind of "power" that really is power and serves the exact same purpose as what was already there that ruled over all other species presented before including human, quincy, vaizard, hollow, arrancar, shinigami, fulbringer, and probably even the fillery bountos.... Well, they had showcased a different power before in the form of that cleaner thing that Aizen conveniently killed, but that wasn't called "power". I didn't see the hell movie so I don't know if they used something else there. Ichigo's final getsuga form I'm not too sure....Still I think it seems like an asspull. I also need actual background from the soul king itself that can hopefully justify how nature on itself can just create something like Jugabach. *spoiler*Did they call the bearded man the "last line of defense"? I expected the many-arms lady wouldn't actually have been taken down so fast. So much for the zero division. I find it very disappointed. Then again, I'm not sure what I expected to see, if Jugabach was just taken down instead I would also not really be satisfied. It's funny how its not the first time Bleach presents me with a "no favorable outcomes" situation for my excitement levels xD It takes skill to do something like that...... in a way. PD: Whatever happened to the Fullbringers being shown. I doubt they'd help more than all the fallen captains and stuff.... pretty much most characters are dead and/or forgotten as far as I see... What if Juha becomes the soul king and that the Soul Society is forced into suddenly being the rebels in a fight instead of the defenders? This is supposed to last another few years so that would make sense. That's also where Aizen could come in
Sleepy
This is far from over from what I see. What if Juha becomes the soul king and that the Soul Society is forced into suddenly being the rebels in a fight instead of the defenders? This is supposed to last another few years so that would make sense. That's also where Aizen could come in It might be far from over but that doesn't take away from the fact that a lot of wasted moments being tossed left and right. The zero division had been building up expectations for close to a decade, so they had to leave an impression, yet they are also having their butt kicked. (looks up name) Shutara is supposed to pretty much be above Mayuri and probably even Urahara, by the fact that she's in the zero division. They did say each one was as powerful as a whole 1/5th of seireitei combined. Yet she didn't show nearly as many safety precautions or back-up plans as the other two, and doesn't seem to be around to defend anything anymore as of right now. That's just talking of 1 of the 5 exaples of the Royal Guard. They are supposed to be god's direct bodyguards. They just aren't fairing much better than how Seireitei did, and take into account that they are all in the same fight right now. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. Why does a being that was randomly born with an unusual ability among the humans (Jugabach) possess "POWER" better than god's bodyguards, even after a thousand years. Nobody could even ever go to the royal palace anyways, and its not like he was an unknown villain (Yamamoto even fought him a thousand years back). They should have more intel on him. They did that with Aizen apparently even though he was much more recent. I could also start talking about the author forgetting Yachiru, about leaving Zaraki in his buffed upgraded self just lying on the floor because he got exhausted after a single fight with a sternritter that wasn't even worth taken to the royal palace, about the Fullbringers having made a cameo like a hundred chapters back in a way that seemed to imply there was a plan going on, but I'm trying to keep it recent. What's the new general doing anyways and why does he think he's more suited to help if he didn't bother helping his own comrades down with him, and if he never made it into zero division? Wouldn't someone from seireitei be in the way compared to the royal guard? wasn't that the whole reason seireitei characters were dropping like flies to begin with, so that the author could get done with that and move on to the royal guard? Why were the Vizored and Arrancar wasted? It would have been good to see a failed attempt at capturing Virored bankai instead of Urahara being smart again in ways nobody explains. Same with Arrancar, if they were conquered the least that could have happened is some info on its way... Damn this became long, and I don't intend to make it a general complaint of the manga, just the stuff that's happened lately.

Phantom Roxas
Kubo ties up his loose ends after forgetting about them for over a hundred chapters to the point that you forgot that the loose ends were even there to begin with. I just remembered that the Zero Division was first mentioned in Turn Back the Pendulum, and Kirio (The cooking lady) was the one who Kisuke replaced. Just think about what that should mean about the expectations we're meant to have of her.

It's still possible, but I just don't see how he could orchestrate any of this.Unless he went to Juha Bach with the Hogyoku and is the reason Quincies have all these arbitrary powers. JadenxAtemYAOI
So can we see Kenpachi activate his shikai's ability yet? At least give us bankai before tying things up. I want to see Kenpachi be the hero that wins the war.
