I don't think Ken is going to fight them. He might be a monster, but he is beat to hell. They might not be strong, but I don't think Ken is in good enough shape to fight them all.  The whole, he has been the focus for 2 months, makes me think that too. Yachiru disappearing does make me sad since she is such a cute character and I'd rather not see anything that bad happen to her.

Also, V not using his release thing is strange. As is the fact that he was just a brain.

I think those theories are interesting, but we would be giving Kubo more credit than he deserves.

I actually prized him for IF the theory that sudden apparition of Zaraki was actually Yachiru's imagination, and now I feel kind of stupid for expecting he'd even go that route.

She's probably weak from the broken bones or was captured by those 4 Quincy girls. If so, I predict next week's chapter will have some dialog between both Zaraki and the girls, and THEN on the last page of the chapter they'll show Yachiru in their hands (or dead), and I'll feel cheated reading it.

The problem I have with the Quincy girls taking Yachiru is, why do it in a such fashion that strips Yachiru of her clothes..............

In regards to Yachiru having a shikia while being a Zanpakuto Spirit herself. Well, the theory I have is that Kenpachi's  Reiutsu is so strong that it made yachiru into a almost completely physical being that can release herself. I'll admit though, that's shooting for the sky.

New chapter. You know where to find it.

As for what it's about, Kubo's just trying to flesh out the Sternritter ranks again. Booooring. Although Kenpachi shouldn't be that easily curbstomped, even though he's tired. I thought the point was that he's an insatiable fighting demon or something. o_o;;

It's actually possible for the explosion at the end to be the arrival of Ganju and the Fulbringers. Since the appearance kinda resembles Kukaku's random cannon hitting the barrier around the Soul Society (Which is still there since it was mentioned when Gremmy called down the Meteor I think)

I also liked Kenpachi being so worn down tbf. Especially since it's not just Physical attrition given Yachuri may have just died and is definitely missing.  And that sort of thing can hit hard. Oh and his Organs got severe damage (Even Kenny's not been shown to be able to rush straight into a fresh fight after the amount of punishment Gremmy gave him with no healing inbetween) It's nice for Kenny just to not go and solo everyone (Even without his eyepatch, which at this point might just be a regular eyepatch if he can now control his Reatsu properly, which was suggested in the Gremmy fight) And given how pressed Kubo is for characters that need to get fights in... yeah it seems likely it's them instead of Ichigo.

The girls are kinda meh till they get exposition, but I'm not expecting anything different.

I have to agree with Ken being down being fine. They kept saying that Gremmy was this super strong character, plus we know all the damage Ken took from that fight. Dude is a monster, but he still has limits.

As for the girls.

Thunder is a staple power.

Eating things is creepy as hell.

"The Power" or w/e is just stupid.

I like the Zombie one tbqh.

If that explosion isn't yachiru, then i'll be seriously dissapointed. she didn't even get a fair fignt and she's already out of the picture? No.

the only other people I could see that being is either Ganju(as stated above) or ichigo(since we have no real idea what his powers are like now). I would say ikkaku, but nothing in his arsenal resembles a skull shaped explosion, and (due to kubo's their own stupidity)none of the nearby visored are in any shape to fight against 4 people solo.

On the conspiracy theory hand, what a twist it would be if isane was the one about to go nuts on those guys.

Yeah, but really, who wants to hear that about supposedly a super hype amazingly strong badass like Kenpachi? "Yeah, he's a MONSTER and there isn;t ANYTHING he can't cut buuuuuut, y'know, man, he has limits."
