I'm still salty that Yachiru didn't have any spotlight. Maybe I'm cutting them too much slack and she's much more meaningless and less thought out than I expected, but come on. Someone Ikkaku fears ought to have SOMETHING.

As for the chapter. It's better than the last one. Imagination power is still bullshit but at least it is explained and stated. Zaraki's escapes out of nowhere with no explanation are more Bullshit.

One thing to take note of: Zaraki is wearing his eyepatch. The eyepatch he left to Yachiru

Now either a) Kubo forgot this fact and it's meaningless.

Or b) You can infer it's not the real Zaraki, and that it's Yachiru's imagination at work.

Evidence for that: Zaraki's spirit pressure appearing from nowhere according to the un ranked Soul Reapers; that'd infer that he wasn't there at the time before that (Though flimsy at best evidence considering he could just be able  control it)

The fact that Kenny can walk though all the attacks could be because Yachiru thinks he's invincible. So when Unohana was brough up by Isane, the imaginary Kenny would have naturally said it won.

The eyepatch (Which could either be how Yachiru is used to seeing him, or that he went to the time and effort to get it back after killing Unohana)

I mean, Yachiru is basically a kid, and the V guys power seems more like the other person has to believe it for it to be real rather than what he states is reality (Since he's always suggesting more so than stating)

It's a neat theory at least

That makes sense. I hadn't noticed those little details.

There's also that "seems like Yachiru's bones are back to normal" all of a sudden. There's definitely a link. Maybe she's still getting the spotlight secretly since Vanishing Point is to Visionary what this Zaraki would be for Yachiru.

Though why have Zaraki's bones not been turned into cookies?

Literally the first thing I thought of during almost every page this chapter. The second thing was why not just imagine him out of existence. This guy has one of the most broken powers ever to exist (not to mention he's the first true Reality warper in the bleachverse.) and he's still losing in 1 on 1 combat.

On another note, are kensei and rose still dead? or were they only dead as long as he focused on them? because if it's the latter, and he has to focus to keep his powers active (like the yachiru bonecookie situation) then His power's fairly useless.

V needing to concentrate to maintain his imagination effects sounds like it'd be a reasonable drawback. So the Vizard captains probably aren't going to stay dead and Kenpachi distracting him by getting out of the crevice made him forget about Yachiru.

If that isn't the case, then I dunno.

If I were V, I'd imagine Kenpachi's skeleton to be made of dynamite and then imagine him on fire or something.
