Kakashi Hatake
So we got more info in this chapter then normal, so that's good.
Phantom Roxas
[spoiler=Thoughts]Haschwalth has the best sword. "I almost forgot that Quincies can steal reishi!" …Kyoraku, what the hell. BG9, I am disappoint. I hate wrestler Quincy.
Flame Dragon
I'm fine with Kyoraku saying that. They so rarely use that power the reader is likely to forget they have it too. Anyway, I liked the bit with Kyoraku and the Iron dudes line. The bit with the wrestler was actually pointless.

I found it funny Rukia and Renji look like they're going to go ski later.

Phantom Roxas
Ugh, and Kubo didn't even resort to Völlstandig to drag this fight out. COME ON, KUBO.
Flame Dragon
Well, the fight isn't over. However, the dude is letter "S". This shouldn't last long.

COME ON, KUBO.Well, I'm actually glad to be able to see these two characters in action because I\they're cool and I want to see their bankai. Fusion X. Denver
9th Division Captain's Bankai's cool, but there's no excuse for explaining how it works to the enemy. I mean, S guy probably isn't smart enough to exploit the weaknesses laid out in 9th guy's exposition, but still.Hope this doesn't drag too long, let's get back to the main fights. The explaining of attacks and abilities to their enemy, as a way to have the audience understand what just happened (it's a pretty cheap way I know) and as a way to make stuff sound dramatic/hopeless/whatever feeling they try to compel. I think it's bad. On another note, I still believe the zero squad seems to look at all this mess as a funny thing, and don't seem to care to go help the people they once lived with. Flame Dragon
As a friendly reminder, we've already seen 9th division guys bankai. It says a lot about Kubo as a writer that most people forgot it.
Phantom Roxas
No, I remember it. We saw it back in the Fake Karakura Town arc, but I can't remember who it was against. Was it Wonderweiss?

Yes it was. I concur. If anything, take the Toriko approach and just explain it through narration. And I remember now, he did show it before. This was our first explanation behind it, though. I like the way Toriko does it well enough, but it still kind of brings me out of it though. Yes, that is true. The first time we didn't get to see any of it. He just used it and we cut away never to see him again for the arc. At least I don't remember him showing up after that point.

I just hope we don't go through all of the 26 freaking fights with each letter minion, but I feel like that's exactly what's going to happen. I just hope we don't go through all of the 26 freaking fights with each letter minion, but I feel like that's exactly what's going to happen. This is true. Explaining powers is always hard. I think the best way would be to have the characters figure it out, which is more so what they do in One Piece and Naruto. Well, Zaraki already took out 3. Yama took out 2. 3 of the 4 that stole a bankai are also out. The guy Ichigo faced was also one of the stronger ones. So thats like 10 or so that have been beaten already. Phantom Roxas
I'm looking at the wiki, and not even half of the Sternritter have been killed. We got three of them who's letters haven't been revealed, and the letters we're missing are C, L, M, N, and X. So that means there are at least two more Sternritter we haven't even met. vla1ne
Does that mean we're gonna have to go through more expositions? This is gonna be a looong arc.
Tentacruel
I gotta admit, that's a cool power, even if it was a little predictable that the little guy was dangerous.
Flame Dragon
http://www.mangapanda.com/bleach/561 Does nothing with the Vizard up till this point. "Kills" them off with them doing nothing. God damn it Kubo.
Sleepy
I can't stop mentioning this:It felt so short. How come the last cliff-hanger I saw was Rukia and Renji appearing, yet it's exactly this week's cliff-hanger?

Zextra
Well… at least we saw Rose's Bankai, so I guess that counts for something.Except seeing two new Bankais (I'm including Kensei's, since we hadn't seen it do anything before) get nullified and defeated completely - and not even being stolen - is kind of stupid in my opinion... Not to mention they have hollow powers. USE THEM. God, this chapter was bad. Also, Kubo continues to show he hates arm.
Fusion X. Denver
FFFFSee, Rose's Bankai was cool. I liked the concept. And you know what, Rose would have won had he NOT EXPLAINED HOW HIS GODDAMN POWER WORKS.Seriously Kubo, you suck.
