Flame Dragon
Because:Nobody dies in Bleachand/orOrihime isn't actually that powerful outside of revival and was just used as a red herring by Aizen to lure Ichigo and co to HMEven if they don't die she can undo any amount of damage someone has taken. Loss half your body, its cool, Orihime can just fix you right up. And we KNOW this to be true since she has been shown to be able to do just that. bury the year
http://www.mangapanda.com/bleach/519O, Bleach and its random tonal shifts. So there goes my theory of the Spirit King being a metaphysical concept rather than an actual person. And I find it funny that the motivations of probably the greatest villain in Bleach history (Aizen) were swept away and dismissed in the span of two pages. Lovely, Kubo. Just lovely. Phantom Roxas
And yet Kubo shows that he does remember things he established in the Soul Society arc. How many times has "Urahara did it" been used as an explanation now?
Fusion X. Denver
Not gonna lie, kinda laughed at the hot spring shenanigans. And honestly, even if Kubo made up his Ouken explanation during the past week, it makes sense to me. Aizen went about creating life with Arrancar like Wonderweiss.Spirit King looks weird...
Lt. Colonel Remo
You know what The spirit king kinda looked like Mullet Aizen Well, unless Kubo and his team forgot how to draw different faces and now make them all the same But he did have the black sclera I also love how the Vanderreich is even more wicked than the PERSONIFICATION OF EVIL
Premier Alexander Romanov
So, I'm catching up with the Bleach anime, and I've hit the Reigai Arc.And I am incredibly confused. Why are these Reigai, which are copies of the original Soul Reapers, fighting their originals? Is it the same stupid reason reason why they were fighting their Zanpakuto spirits? That the Reigai are controlled?Because it seems kinda silly, and now cliched, for the good guys to keep fighting copies of themselves in what are essentially "what if" matches.Could someone please explain the Reigai Arc, because it seems like there's nothing worth watching here. Premier Alexander Romanov
That's exactly its purpose: what if matches. But the Zanpakuto Arc before it (which was essentially the same thing) was much more intriguing, because it wasn't a bunch of straight-up clones. The Zanpakuto Spirits, in most cases, had different personalities from their owners, and each Shinigami seemed to have a unique relationship to their Zanpakuto. And Muramasa was a rather interesting villain, as he didn't want to outright destroy the Soul Society, but simply wished to revive his own master and regain his favor, though Koga was rather uninteresting and bland after the buildup. And this arc got off to a good start with a bunch of intrigue over who was a clone and who wasn't...though that quickly got thrown out of the window in favor of the "what if" fights. This had some potential, but it felt like such a waste of time... Fusion X. Denver
I haven't seen the Zanpakutou arc, but if that's the case, then it's because Studio Pierrot doesn't know how to make compelling filler stories (aside from the current Naruto Shippuden one). Astro Dude
And Momo was in the Zanpakutou arc. In my opinion, it should have happened AFTER the final battle with Aizen.
Flame Dragon
http://www.mangapanda.com/bleach/520 That was SOOO much better than last week. Ending was a tad stupid and still shows Kubo making things up as he goes. I mean it was FIVE chapters ago. Come on.
Zextra
Wow...there were some unexpected things in that chapter...to say the least :/[spoiler=Spoiler]Let's hope that Unohana isn't just hype after all...And as for Shunsui - good luck to him :
Kakashi Hatake
http://www.mangapanda.com/bleach/520 That was SOOO much better than last week. Ending was a tad stupid and still shows Kubo making things up as he goes. I mean it was FIVE chapters ago. Come on. [spoiler=contains spoilers of the new chapter]Yeah, this chapter was pretty good. I'm hyped that dude is the new 1st Division Captain and that Unohana was revealed as Yachiru Unohana, the first of the Kenpachi. Seriously though, I knew Unohana was fierce, but d*mn. Oh, and little Yachiru was named after her. It's all coming together now. And what do you mean? Everything seems pretty planned out to me. I've been disappointed with a few of the things done but it all still seems planned to me. Everything is still tying together nicely and not a lot seems very bullsh*tty. I mean, even from the very beginning you could tell that there was a lot that Tite kubo had already palnned. After rewatching Bleach from the beginning to the end of the Rukia Rescue Arc, it really does show that everything is tied together. It's all foreshadowed early on and ties together later so that goes to show how planned it is. I mean, one example would be the entire point of Rukia being stuck in the human world. The whole, "Kisuke creating the Hogyoku and hiding it inside of Rukia then having her come to the world of the living so that he may give her a special Gigai to hide her from the soul Society" thing was great. And the entirety of Aizen's plan being foreshadowed and slowly uncovered through the entire series was great.

No, him pulling stuff from the air is a recent issue. For this one, I said 5 chapters ago for a reason. http://www.mangapanda.com/bleach/515/16So, I'm sorry, but I'm calling BS. Tainted Wisdom
Not gonna lie, I liked this chapter. It was hinted for a while that Unohana was an elite badass. Looks like she'll get some badassery in here. Only thing left is to see Shunsui's Bankai...

Aix
Or to see Kenpachi Zaraki finally learn the name of this Zanpakuto and realease his Shikai.I hope that's what Unohana teaches him to do. And then, he can go through the three-day training to learn bankai. Then, he'd be on Ichigo's level.
Astro Dude
So you're telling me Yachiru is Unohana's daughter? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_S5cXbXe-
bury the year
Very good chapter. This, Kubo, is how you do foreshadowing.[spoiler=Spoilers!]Even though it took a second for it to sink in that 'Retsu' was the first Kenpachi, it makes sense in retrospect when you realize that the Eleventh Division especially were the ones afraid of her. It also makes Yachiru's backstory have perfect sense - Zaraki admired the person whose spot he'd take! Only problem is that Yachiru feels like a childish name for such a dignified woman such as Unohana, but maybe that's just preconceived bias. And Kyoraku becoming captain commander? Badass. >:3 EDIT: @above: ...no.
Kakashi Hatake
So you're telling me Yachiru is Unohana's daughter? No, she is not. (as far as we know) Kenpachi Zaraki simply named Yachiru after the first Kenpachi, the only person Kenpachi Zaraki ever admired, Unohana Yachiru. So, short answer. No. Yachiru was just named after her.
Fusion X. Denver
WellDidn't see that coming.Know what, I liked this chapter too, especially with Shunsui becoming Captain Commander.Seems stupid that the 0 Division guy coulda killed Ichigo if he wasn't healed though. Tainted Wisdom
I honestly want to see more of Renji since their let's say, "practice", against the Fullbringers never really showed how much they grew. Well, other than Renji arrogantly implying he could equal Aizen now. I still doubt he powered up that much in the 18 month time skip.
