What do you mean?

The chapter ended way too abruptly. :I

In the Flashback arc, Urahara had just become 12th Division captain and Hiyori was mad that her former superior was gone, and the fat lady was her.

And yeah, definitely did. That's not how you end a chapter, I thought there was a page missing for a second.

Actually, now that you bring up with the arms, along with the crescent horns, she resembles more of a female Nnoitra.

Although Senshumaru is indeed my favorite in the Zero Division, but the big guy isn't so bad himself.

Also, notice how the crazy-looking guy did nothing this chapter.

...

I hated Nnoitra, so hopefully there's no relation.

And yeah, why didn't Kubo have him say anything .-.

Why aren't they fixing Kenpachi? Really, of all the people that took on series injuries they bring Rukia. Still, not a bad chapter, just wish more happened.

Maybe it's that Kenpachi's just so boss that he'll recover just fine with some rest.

Or he's being left out so the "main" characters are the only ones going to the palace.

When all this is done maybe Orihime can help heal the wounded like the captain of Squad 8. I mean she did restore Grimmjow's arm.

Well, last we saw she was pretty badly injured. She obviously won't die, but for the stories sake, I don't think they'll rely on any Ryoka who could possibly be injured beyond being able to heal others. Add to that the fact that they don't even know where she is let alone her current situation of being unable to heal and you can see why her story breaking powers have been nullified.

Okay, what'd we find out in this chapter? Hm...

[spoiler=…]

Well, we saw a sneak peek of the king's palace place, we saw that Grimmjow is there with Orihime and co. (like we figured), and that some (if not all of) the fullbringers are in Soul Society now as "good guys".

Honestly, it's about as grainy and self absorbed as the rest of the chapters lately. Keep going, Bleach. Really, I want you too.

I dunno why he feels the need to hide his identity for a while longer when we all know it's Grimmjow...oh well.

I'll admit the Fullbringers caught me off-guard, but I kinda don't think they should be siding with the good guys so soon. Especially considering these 3 were the only ones that turned out to be legit bad guys when all was said and done.

I actually liked that it felt longer than most chapters, but it came across as way too silly. I didn't get the impression that that was Grimmjow, though.

The Fullbringers were indeed a surprise. At first I was caught off by butler dude because he's supposed to be dead, but then I realized that we're in Soul Society, so maybe Kubo actually decided to have all three of them actually be dead, since I think Tsukishima was the only one who seemed to actually be alive, if only barely, at the end of the arc.

EDIT: Looked at the chapter again, and yep, that's Grimmjow. I think the reason he's being hidden is because the last time he actually showed up in the manga, he was supposed to be dead.

...Ok that was painful to read. It was as if I was being dragged through the chapter.

Yeah, Grimmjow is alive, pretty much what everyone already knew, and we wasted a half of the chapter confirming this.

Good to see Kūkaku again, though I don't see how it's going to work out with the Fullbringers(who I thought died).

Yet to see that guy with the freaky smile(I'm going to assume he's just a joke character now).

But they mentioned early on that even if two people died at the same time, there would be almost no way for them to find each other in the great expanse of the Rukongai

And they manage to all find each other?

I mean, unless they had some sort of crazy backup plan to meet up at a certain location in Soul Society then maybe

But that's pushing it, plus that's reaching Aizen level of planning

The only point in this chapter that I think is worth mentioning is Kuukaku mentioning that "uncle will be sad." That gets me thinking on the whole Kaien Shiba/Ichigo topic.

What I think is that Isshin, is somehow that "uncle", and obviously something big and changing will happen to Ichigo in the Palace. This gives us more ground on the relation between Kaien and Ichigo, and also implies that Isshin is still hiding a lot more than Ichigo thinks from him.

Sooo a good chunk of the chapter was Urahara's joke.

That captain trying to figure out how does that communication function work. Urahara giving Ichigo some advice that he himself said is pointless because Ichigo will do exactly the same with or without them telling him anything. Then there's that silly "I'm hiding Grimjow for some reason" bit, is there a point to it? OR what's been said above about the fullbringers all meeting up somehow.

Also, it just occured to me, What was all that about the woman that helped Ichigo and company infiltrate Soul Society back in the "rescue Rukia" arch, being able to aim at the royal palace because the Zero Squad's way of transportation doesn't actually do anything on it's own? What was the point of Aizen's plan again?

Aizen's plan was to make the Key that gave access to the Royal palace

I'm assuming being able to use the canon to get to said entrance way and actually entering the palace itself are probably to entirely different things.

A comparison would be if (as in hypothetical, just to explain. this never actually happened) the Stern Ritter had access to the Rukongai but needed a key to get into the Seireitei

I'm assuming the Zero Squad has the key or has been allowed to enter by a gatekeeper of some sort

Orihime is easily one of the strongest characters in Bleach seeing as how she can bring the dead back to life. But no, she does nothing. Why is she so useless.

Because:

Nobody dies in Bleach

and/or

Orihime isn't actually that powerful outside of revival and was just used as a red herring by Aizen to lure Ichigo and co to HM
