Sunshine Jesse
I actually researched it a bit and there are subtle hints to it throughout the series, supposedly. Too lazy to find out for myself. There are a few out there It was pretty obvious as soon as this arc was going to be about Quincy Wrong. It's been stated somewhere that control over both reiryoku and reishi at once is incompatible. One is internal manipulation of one's own power source, the other is external manipulation of inanimate objects and their constituent particles. All races other than Quincies have powers based off of themselves and their identities. ...at least that's what I would've liked to say, but tbqh this entire arc sucks. It's throwing whatever laws and rules I thought I had figured out about this universe out the window for the sake of the Rule of Cool. Kubo, your manga is bad and you should feel bad. |:I don't remember that Wasn't said anywhere that Blut Vene was a reishi manipulation technique anyways What other rules were broken? bury the year
I don't remember thatWasn't said anywhere that Blut Vene was a reishi manipulation technique anywaysWhat other rules were broken? Blut supposedly directs reishi into the blood vessels and manipulates it from there. The whole "powers by letter" that the Vandenreich posses, however, don't seem to use reishi at all. One of them allowed the user to transform into a lion thing, for Chrissakes. That directly contradicts what the Quincy are about.

Not only that, but it has been shown that you can give Fullbring powers to someone iirc
Tainted Wisdom
Well, here's my theory. Amongst the (enemy) Quincy's, they somehow managed to make Arrancars gain their own Quincy powers. Arrancars are still technically a Hollow/Shinigami hybrid, so the reverse, being Ichigo, a Shinigami/Hollow hybrid for argument's sake should be possible. With what Bach said in this chapter, I beieve they "killed" the Arrancars and did the ressurection technique they mentioned in this chapter to make them on their side. Also, I think somewhere in that process, Bach can transfer Quincy powers over to others, and that mysterious person that attacked Urahara, is how Ichigo obtained it. I also remember Kirge saying that Ishida's way is the same logic as an "ancient's" power, as in no one else uses it anymore, and all the Quincy now, use a different aspect of it. So now, because of the lets say, evolution, of the Quincy powers that they can now be used in tandem with Shinigami powers. Or perhaps, because Ichigo is part Hollow is the reason he can use Blut Vene. It would make sense since only Arrancars so far also have Quincy abilities. With this being said, I think if you take these above things into consideration, it quite actually makes much more sense.
D.A._Sakuyamon
One thing that I think should be noted is that aside from Uryu, his dad and is grandfather. We only know that the quincies were taken out 1000 years ago. Uryu's grandfather taught him the old ways. However, when we see these new quincy, they clearly have far more powerful abilities. So with that said, we only know what Uryu was taught which are the old ways. So what I'm getting at is that with 1000 years time the new quincy created new ways of battling. Lt. Colonel Remo
Perhaps Ichigo is somehow connected to the soul king and that's why Urahara was able to defeat Aizen since he managed to get to him first It seems Aizen, Urahara, Yamamoto, and Juha Bach have all been trying to manipulate Ichigo on to their side (well, with Aizen it's questionable but I wouldn't put it beyond Kubo to make something like that up instantly >.>) In fact, considering what kind of person Ichigo is, it would have been safer for Juha to simply kill Ichigo rather than trying to turn him into subordinate. We've seen Juha normally act as a combat pragmatist so naturally I assumed he'd take the safe route unless he needed Ichigo for his plans later. IN FACT, HAVING ICHIGO JAILED MEANT THAT HE COULD TAKE HIM TO THE ICE PALACE TO HAVE HIM INDOCTRINATED LATER. And then that would also shed more light on to why Aizen intentionally gave Ichigo more time to train and get stronger (no matter what, I will never accept the "he just wanted a worthy opponent" argument as truth. Ever.) And then that would explain his hax0r ability at having a constantly evolutionary zanpakuto ...or his mom is just a Quincy. Of course that still doesn't explain HOW HE KNEW IT WAS EVEN CALLED BLUT VENE LET ALONE MASTERING THAT TECHNIQUE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO SURPRISE JUHA BACH

Lt. Colonel Remo
It was explicitly explained to him how the technique works and what it isWell, I guess must have forgotten that regardless, mastering the ability in such a short amount of time seems pretty preposterous not that Kubo wouldn't do something like that

Lt. Colonel Remo
Yeah but he's a shounen protagonist. They have that ability by default.Yeah We expect Ichigo to learn Bankai in less than 3 days What we don't expect is for him to gain abilities that don't make any sense. Of course, doing what we didn't expect seems to be this authors calling card
Sunshine Jesse
Yeah We expect Ichigo to learn Bankai in less than 3 days What we don't expect is for him to gain abilities that don't make any sense. we should expect him to get an ability from the focus race of an arc when there's a track record of him doing so Of course, doing what we didn't expect seems to be this authors calling card SO THERE I WAS, BEING KUBO TITEAND MY EDITOR WALKED UP TO ME AND SAID "I'm glad you never made Yammy anything special. He's an awful character."SO THEN I SAID "f*** YOU I'M KUBO TITE"SO I MADE HIM THE 0 ESPADAAND I MADE LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEYI LOVE MY LIFE
Mr.WHAM
...I think Ichigos Zanpaktou's Full ability includes something about learning. The fullbring probably was there since birth. And doesn't the existence of fullbring make Ichigo utterly broken. And so much else. ....I always wondered If the access of Fullbring let Ichigo manipulate Reishi or pure souls. In addition that point Rinne made seems to be contradicted by fullbrings.Just questions.AND WHO DIDN'T JUHA JUST STEAL HIS BANKAI????

Tainted Wisdom
If it wasn't official before, it is now; Kubo is a damn troll.1. So far the speculations on Ichigo's mom being a Quincy are most likely true now. 2. Ichigo got half owned, and look Aizen trolled Bach.3. That last page...unless it was just the form of speech, then Kubo has reached SSJ4 troll. I swear to god if we have to call Jerry Springer for Ichigo... Kakashi Hatake
New chapter:http://kissmanga.com...kness?id=145886 [spoiler=Chapter thoughts]"farewell, Ichigo Kurosaki. One day, I'll come back to get you. Heal your wounds and wait. My son... born in the darkness." I told you guys that it'd have something strongly to do with Ichigo's mother! But... what does he mean, "My son... born in the darkness."? Does he mean that Ichigo's related to him somehow? Probably just because he's part Quincie. Who votes that Ichigo's Mom was a spirit-slut-- *shot* Even though Bleach is getting on my last nerve, i can;t wait for the next chapter, yo!
