So...I just got to Episode 100 today. I'm somewhat disappointed that the Bount Arc is still going on; hopefully it'll be over with soon, I'm getting increasingly bored with it.

You can skip it. It isn't canon in the manga, and a few things will be canon in the upcoming arc relative to to them a tiny bit, so it wouldn't matter.

If someone had told me that 40 episodes ago, I would've gladly. But now, as far in as I am, I pretty much have to see it to the end. :(

I thought I said skip the filler? W/e. Yea, skip the filler. To find out just what is filler check the wiki. Down the line it becomes more obvious fyi.

I wasn't sure if the Bounts were filler or not; they've mentioned Aizen a few times throughout the Arc so I had no idea if it played into the main plot.

What pissed me off about the Bount arc in particular was they were built up for several episodes' worth (which Pierrot took much too time with) only to be curb stomped and cast aside within the span of a couple episodes. A whole arc making them into a big deal and writing them off like they suddenly aren't anymore, what the hell? Highlight for spoilers

The new chapter was interesting. I didn't expect him to lose. But then again, I didn't expect him to be dumb enough to give his Bankai away either, so I shouldn't be surprised.

[spoiler=Actual, real spoiler. You've been warned.]Holy s***. Kubo killed Byakuya. O_o

Okay, that site really annoyed the f*** out of me. Ads kept popping up and a download kept trying to start. Use this one:

No pop-ups, I don't want to want to download. I want to f******g read the chapter. >.

[spoiler==O]

.....Byakuya is dead? *kneels to ground* Kubo is just making too much emotional effect on these current chapters, especially since Byakuya found his weakness...And so the next OP character is going to avenge his death...

[spoiler=]Rip Senbonzakura. I completely forgot about Kenpachi, unless he gets curbstomped by the leader he may be the current trump card as he doesn't rely on a Bankai. Also, the sword could also very well be Tia's.(ps. Byakuya's death seemed a bit anti-climatic. Kubo, if you're going to kill off a main character, at least make the fight have more than an episode's worth of air time.)

[spoiler=...]

It wouldn't seem Byakuya's death didn't seem great in the manga, but if they'll ever do, they need to make have more of an emotional approach. But I won't still confirm his death yet. It's only a matter of 95%. It's possible in the manga that the high weakening on reiatsu can make it appear someone has died. So if there's no response from Byakuya, he's dead.

And it seems Kubo is only killing off every important main character....Ulquiorra, Gin...and this...

Kubo was trying this time was trying to achieve a despaired, painful, and tragic death on this one. Ulquiorra's just made it seem very sad that he had found a heart, and that the only one who seemed to understand was Orihime. And then Gin had tried his best but had to see Rangiku crying at him; It was truly a romantic death.

It all reminds me of other anime deaths and how they were perceived...Maes Hughes death in FMA really was sudden and poor, and L from Death Note died a solemn and sad death. It all just brings up that their creators killed them since they knew too much about the plot.

[spoiler=Thoughts]I thought Byakuya was going to die after what happened last chapter, but I'm not happy about it. People wanted Kubo to actually kill people in Bleach, and this is what they got. Kubo is just killing off these characters like they're fodder, and considering how short this chapter felt, I'm disappointed.

wow kenpachi is a boss his entrance was epik since the boss was braggin somewhat

i wanna see how epic aizen's and grimmjow's entrances will be

You can't say Aizen will come in; There's no telling what he'll do, or even if he does appear. And we have yet to see who Urahara met in Hueco Mundo at the Cliffhanger. I'm definitely positive it's Grimmjow.

[spoiler=wat]

He's DEAD?

Byakuya is DEAD?

But...but his death had no meaning!

NO DAMMIT.

NOT LIKE THIS.

And glad Kenpachi's back, but of course he's going against the Big Bad...don't die, man.

Speaking of, where's everyone go when they die in Soul Society?

When you die in Soul Society you go back to the real world. That was why they had that plot point of killing a bunch of people like 10 chapters ago.

Agree. Nothing about this chapter was epic and given what happened that is not how it should be done.

There is no way you can bring back a mind-hacking sociopath well. If Kubo did at all the fandom would be up at arms. |:

I think they are already.

Anyway, yay, Kenpachi. He's always fun.
