Maybe it's just me' date=' but it seems that sonic games have been getting worse and worse. I think they need to stop running him into the ground and either give up on him or start porting the good games into little collections. kinda like what they did with megaman X and regular megaman.

Or maybe it's just you as well as everyone else. I know that I think they've been going downhill.

Meh, I think people have been a little too hard on Sonic as of recently -seriously, there are some fans who adamantly REFUSE to be impressed. By anything.

That said, the more recent games have been...mediocre. Not horrible, but still only rental-quality. Unleashed was great, although the Ps2 and Wii ports were a little disappointing.

As for the Black Knight... have yet to play it yet, though from what I've heard, the quality's about average for the 3D sonic games. Not amazing, a bit of a let down from Unleashed, but not quite bottom of the barrel either.

1) Aside from day-time Unleashed, there's nothing to be impressed by.

2) Oddly enough, the Wii port (lol wait. It can't be a port if it was the first one released) was the best one

3) Black Knight looks to be a bit more than a let-down from Unleashed.

Indeed' date=' Plus, BK has the most greatest plot twist.

Plot twist? Yes. Greatest? Only if you mean "one of the most stupid."

The only "new" Sonic games I've liked were Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. Are those considered new? They're quite a few years old. I've played Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders, and Sonic Rivals, and those three... well... sucked. I've been a fan of Sonic since I played Sonic 3 in the mid-90s. And since they went 3-D, they've gone from just good, to decent, to horrible.

Sega should stop injecting more and more characters to the new games. They just started to become banale after Shadow.

Sonic Unleashed was OK when in the running stages, fighting stages were just boring and uninspired. I haven't played The Black Knight but... I'm pretty happy I haven't.

I'll just stick to the first classic ones.

Agreed. When I got Adventure 2' date=' I liked Shadow, I thought he was kind of cool. But in games after that, I started to lose interest in him. And at that point, Sega kept adding even [i']more[/i] characters. Out of all the new characters, I liked Shadow the best. And if I'm getting tired of characters like Shadow, what chance do have to like characters like Cream the Rabbit?
