"Like AJ, I've got Banner," said Crystal. "I don't see the point of alchemy at all. It's not like we're going to conjure up our own spells during duels to make our opponents faint or something, is it?"

[Negimalevolent]

"No, I'll see you and AJ after class ok?"

[Naimo]

"Yeah, see ya." Crystal glanced at the clock and slung her schoolbag over her shoulder. "You too Koga, nice to meet you. By the way, I'm Crystal." She ran for it and made her way over to Banner's class, neatly sliding into a seat next to AJ and sitting down, preapred for the long lesson ahead.

[Negimalevolent]

"Urgh, that broke the boring scale!"

[Goldeneagle]

"Hopefully physics will be slightly better" said Koga. "Apparently the great physicist Eisenstein is doing a guest visit. I'm currently working on a physics deck, so I better not be late. See ya after lessons". Koga ran towards the main academy building.

(AJ sat threw class with Crystal resting on her shoulder, near the end however Banner spoke to the class)

 

Banner: i know it's a bit late to introduce him, but we have a new student who just arrived, and passed his entrance duel a small time ago

 

AJ: new student? (suddenly a figure could be seen walking into the room)

 

Banner: students, allow me to introduce the newest edition to our school, Damion Maxwell (at the name AJ's eyes widened, he looked at the figure with a look of sheer terror on his face)

 

AJ: (thinking and shaking nervously)....w-why is he here?

[Negimalevolent]

OOC: Whoa didn't see that coming! Isn't class over yet?

[Goldeneagle]

On his way back from class, Koga stopped and turned round. The amulet* around his neck had started to glow. Something was wrong...

 

*Note: This amulet has no special powers, apart from glowing when the enemy is near. It contains the 6 most powerful cards of Koganeiro's collection, and was aqquired earlier in Koga's travels around the world.

[Naimo]

"Damion?" whispered Crystal. "AJ, isn't that your brother?" She didn't like the look of Damion. Fortunately the bell rang and Crystal was one of the first out of the classroom. She passed Koga on the way. "Oh hello Koga."

[Goldeneagle]

"Hello Crystal" replied Koga, deep in thought.

(What could have caused my amulet to glow like that? The last time that happened was in the presence of a Shadow Duelist...) Koga smiled. Things were about to get interesting.

[Naimo]

"Are you alright Koga?" She then saw his glowing amulet. "That's a nice amulet you have."

[Goldeneagle]

"Thank you, I picked it up in my travels in Egypt." replied Koga. "Tell me, have you noticed anything supicious around the academy recently?"

[Naimo]

"No," answered Crystal. "Only that Damion Maxwell has entered. Why do you ask?"

[Goldeneagle]

"Oh, it's just a feeling I had..." (Koga looks down at his amulet. It has stopped glowing.) "I'm heading back to Obelisk dorm now, I'll see you in the morning". (If we survive that long...) thought Koga to himself.

[Naimo]

"OK, see you," said Crystal as she watched Koga leave. Deciding there was nothing to do she headed off to her room to consult over her Spellcaster deck once more, her Chained Weaklings once again bouncing all over her room.

Vent goes out to see some of his old firends. He goes by the front of the academy to find any challengers. He was urging for a duel. He needed the strength to face on his real task.

[Goldeneagle]

Koga walked out into the schoolyard, looking for someone to duel. He couldn't see anyone around, so he sat down to work on his Icicle Storm deck.

[Naimo]

"Hi Koga," said Crystal when she saw him in the courtyard. "Fancy a duel? I'm raring to go at the moment. And I believe you wanted to have one, didn't you?"

[Goldeneagle]

"A duel would be good to get back in practice." Koga takes out his deck. "I'd quite like to test out my Icicle deck as well. Would you like to begin?"

[Naimo]

"You first?" asked Crystal as her duel disk clicked into place.

[Goldeneagle]

"Very well then. I draw. I place a facedown, and Set a monster. That'll do for now."

[Negimalevolent]

"Hey guys, what are you doing?"

[Naimo]

"About to have a duel. Actually, wanna make it a threeway? I remember the last time I did a threeway, we never actually finished did we?"

[Goldeneagle]

"Hmm, that would be interesting. 2 of the academy's strongest students and me." Koga smiled. "What do you say, Peter?"

[Naimo]

"Well, while we wait for Peter's decision, it's my move. I'll throw two face downs. Next I'll Set a monster and end my move," said Crystal.
