"By destroying all three Chained Weaklings, I can Special Summon three more. Firstly, in place of Egeria, I choose Chained Weakling LV1 in defence."

 

 

"Now in Defender's place, returning from the graveyard, is Chained Weakling Amber in defence. And now I can draw 1 card from my deck. And finally, for Arial, I pick Chained Weakling Bodyguard."

 

 

"Since it's my Standby Phrase, I will send LV1 to the graveyard to level her up to LV3."

 

 

"Now I draw." Crystal drew a card. "You're so going down. First I play another copy of Heavy Storm to get rid of your face down. Next I'm going to use Amber as a Tribute to Tribute Summon Chained Weakling Absorber."

 

 

"Doing a bit of maths, I can work out I have 14 Chained Weaklings in the graveyard which means now Absorber has 5200 attack points! Firstly, because I special summoned LV3, he can inflict 500 Life Points directly."

"Now Absorber, attack Judgment Dragon!"

"I'll now play Swords of Revealing Light. This will stop you from attacking for three whole turns. Now I end my turn."

"I activate my face down before it's destroyed, Threatening Roar!"

(OoC: I've just noticed we've been duelling for 2 and a bit hours and we're still nowhere near finished! I don't think Chained Weaklings was such a good idea after all, if only I had realised it would drag the duels right on. I'm going to cancel it, I don't think I can take much more of this)

 

"I'm going to end this duel, it's gone on for too long," said Crystal as her duel disk became inactive. The images of the monsters faded. "I've just learnt a new thing, and that thing is I'm going to stick to Spellcasters. Goodbye for now Chained Weaklings, but one day ... I have a feeling they will come back to play once more. I'm still going to carry them around with me though, just in case." Crystal yawned and glanced at a nearby clock. It was 10. "Oh gosh, it's 10? No wonder why I'm getting tired! See you in the morning guys." She left for her dorm - which was still the same as last year's, much to her relief, as she wasn't in the mood to find another room - and the moment she got into bed, fell asleep, totally ignoring her Weaklings' little party.

Aaron sighed deeply. He had fought hard in that duel and Crystal pulled out at the last minute. "Oh well... You guys didn't fail me." He thought looking at his new deck, "We're going to make a great team this year."

(AJ yawned and got out of bed, it was weird how he didn't remember falling asleep, he shrugged it off and changed, he grabbed his duel disk of the desk along with his deck, he looked at the top card, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, he grimaced at the card) AJ: with you... (he slid his deck into his duel disk) i'll be able to beat him (walked out of the dorms in search of his friends)

[Naimo]

"Hey AJ!" said Crystal the next day as she saw him. "I believe we have a duel to finish. But can I ask you a favour? I've decided not to use Chained Weaklings after all, not after the duel with Aaron using those cards. So what do you say we duel again but with my Spellcaster deck?"

[~Kefka~]

AJ: (looks at his watch, they had plenty of time before class, he nodded and activated his duel disk) then show me what you can do Crystal

[Naimo]

"OK. This time I've got not just a Spellcaster deck but a Twilight Spellcaster deck. You first AJ, no need for ladies first."

[Negimalevolent]

(Wakes up and finds a letter) "Hmm.... so this is a truth lock pendant... could be useful later"

(Leaves and finds Crystal and AJ) "hey guys, having that remach I see..."

[~Kefka~]

AJ: (smiles and draws) first i'll activate pot of greed (draws his 2) then i'll summon my CB topaz tiger, then i'll play 2 face downs and end, you're up

[Naimo]

"My draw." Crystal drew. "I play Neo the Magic Swordsman. Now Neo, attack Topaz Tiger!"

[~Kefka~]

(AJ took the damage)

 

AJ: 7900

Crystal: 8000

 

AJ: i'll chain it with my Crystal Pair trap, now not only with topaz go but so with my sapphire pegasus (both CB's went to the spell and trap zone)

[Naimo]

"I set a card and end my turn. Your move!"

[Negimalevolent]

"Hm... that's odd, not countering... unless he's saving for crystal abundance..."

[~Kefka~]

AJ: draw! (looks at the card) next i'll play my Crystal Promise allowing me to bring Pegasus from my spell and trap zone, then due to the effect i'll send ruby there in it's place, then i'll summon CB Amber Mammoth, now Mammoth, attack Neo (1700)

 

--just checking Neo has (1700) right? he's an old card so i can't really remember

OOC: I know he does, I have it

[~Kefka~]

--then yes, i attack with mammoth

[Naimo]

"Sorry but I activate Magic Cylinder! Not only is your attack negotiated, you also take damage equivalent to Mammoth's ATK points."

"Humph, I knew she'd have something like that to counter his attack..."

AJ: Amber Mammoth squah that swordsman

[Naimo]

"Very well," said Crystal as both monsters were destroyed.

(AJ sent Mammoth to the spell and trap zone) AJ: now Pegasus attack her directly! (the attack hit and Crystal took some damage)

AJ: i'll play one more card face down and end
