--plus even if you were to counter that as well, it would only destory wingbeat, plus it's still my turn, i'd use full darkness blast and finish it anyway

AJ: (looks at his Crystal Beast deck that Crystal was holding) hmph, those cards are all past memories now (holds the Red Eyes deck in his hand) this is my new deck, this is my new family (AJ walks off the field and past Crystal) if you want to hold onto it go ahead, i have no use for it (walks out of the arena)

--i used royal decree, it NEGATED MJ, so the effect wouldn't work, wingbeat would destory all spell and traps then i used my blast, plus decree would negate any other traps u'd have, so even if u did destory wingbeat i still would have used darkness blast to deal the damage, and AJ just left guys, laterz

(Koga returns to his dorm, annoyed that Miya escaped.) (Damn! A Shadow Duelist, and I let her get away! I should have been better prepared.) Koga pulled out his deck, and added in 2 cards, both Lv8 Icicles. (With these in my deck, I will be. But what did that second line of the chant in my vision mean? The dark poisonous snake... Shadow Cobra? Shadow Adder? Shadow Mamba? Shadow... Viper?) Koga smiled and made his way back down to the library. He had some research to do...

"You're right Aaron, we need to talk to him. But I'm worried that he's so addicted to his new deck he won't let go of it until someone duels him and wins ..." said Crystal. She looked up at Aaron. "If I duel him and win ... yes, I'll do that. Excuse me, I need to make some deck modification." She wandered off and decided to head to the library for some peace, quiet and deck re-organisation. However when she got there she saw Koga on the computer. She walked over to him. "Hey Koga, I didn't expect to see you here."

Aaron ran to the Obelisk dorm as fast as he could to Peter's rooms. He searched high and low for one of the Shadow Protection amulets. "Found ya!" He grabbed it and sprinted towards the library. "Crystal! I think you should take these." He held out the amulet and his Dark Armed Dragon. "He might come in handy if all your Dark Magicians are in the grave."

Not much is known about them, but it's thought they're all immensely powerful and have beaten countless unlucky duelists. I actually encountered a member in Egypt, when I first discovered my amulet's powers, and so when I figured out the vision I had and realised they were the Shadow Vipers I instantly remembered the dark, cloaked figure who I only just escaped from in a Shadow Game. Now we know who we're up against. The question is, why are they here? Just what are the 6 most powerful shadow duelists known to still exist doing in the academy?"

"I can take the amulet, but that's a dragon card," said Crystal. "My deck's pure Spellcaster. If I have a dragon card, it'll furthur ruin my chances of drawing 4 cards with Spellcaster's Aid. You keep it, I'm sure there's another card that can work just like Dark Armed Dragon." She heard Koga's words. "Shadow Vipers? This feels like Shadow Riders all over, except with one less."

"You're right about that. All but 8 of my monsters are dark. I've got Mystic Plasma Zone in my deck, but if I duel AJ that card will be useless as it'll increase the ATK power of both sides," said Crystal. "Talking of which..." She found the card and tugged it out of the deck. "I just hope AJ will soon see sense and ditch that deck."

Miya sighed. How embarrassing it was to lose to an Academy student! Well, it surely wasn't a very good first impression, but she figured the others would complement her deck enough to complete the task at hand. She looked through her cards, dropping all of them. "Perhaps the age of Stone should be replaced with something a little more... Metallic...."

"Sure. I don't think my deck modifications should take too long, after all I don't have that many cards," said Crystal as she pulled out a very thick stack of spare cards (OoC: 158 cards, having just done a quick count!) Thirty minutes later she was finished. She went over to Aaron's dorm and knocked on his door. "Aaron, you said I could come and find you if I needed some practice. Is it alright if we have a test duel now?"
