(Koga looks down, alarmed.) "Oh yes, I'm not sure what's wrong with it." said Koga. "I better go now, I've got a lesson, I don't want to be late." (Koga leaves the arena hurriedly, and turns towards the library.)

AJ: now i'll activate my Chick's ability by sacrficing him i can call forth this from my hand, go Red Eyes Black Dragon! (2400) now my dragon, attack her magician with Inferno Fire Blast! (the magician was hit and Miya took 1900 damage)

 

AJ: 7500 (your cards effect)

Miya: 6600

 

AJ: then i'll play 2 cards face down and end, make your move

"Wait ... this isn't a Crystal Beast deck ..." muttered Crystal. She couldn't help but wonder how uneasy his deck felt. Her Dark Magician duel spirit suddenly appeared beside her. "What's the matter?" Suddenly her Sorcerer of Dark Magic, Dark Eradicator Warlock, and Chaos Command Magician all leapt out, forming a shield around her. "What the ... guys, what's the matter?" She glanced at AJ and frowned. "Are you telling me you don't trust his deck?" It seemed as if that was the answer.

[Assegai]

"Alright... Now I will play Sacrifice to the moon! It allows me to search for two Level 5 or lower WATER type monsters in my deck and summon them!"

 

"I chooose... Loner of the Snows and Ice dragon Tamer to Special Summon.... THIS!"

 

"Now, Tlaloc, Destroy the Red -eyes! I play two face-downs and end my turn."

(Koga rushes into the library, and enters in the password for the student files again.) "Miya Yamanoshi" he mutters, opening the file. The words INFORMATION UNAVAILABLE came up on the screen. "What? But Ultima Academy always has student records - even Damion had a limited background, even if it wasn't very believeable." (Koga logs off the computer and looks at his amulet again. It is still glowing, but more dimly now.) Koga grimaces. (There may be more going on here than I think)...

[~Kefka~]

(looking in on the duel a lone figure watched with great intrest, the face was covered by a hood and he was shrouded in a cloak)

 

????: (to himself) well now (giggles insanely) it seems as though things are going to get much more interesting, more interesting indeed. hmhmhmhm, this boy, yes this boy has a very intreging aura, must.....i must keep and eye on him if i want me experiment to go well, hmhmhahahaha! (leaves before anyone notices)

AJ: i'll counter your attack with my trap Steel Wings! i send a dragon from my hand to the graveyard, but then my dragon cannot be destoryed as a result of battle, however i'll still take the damage

 

AJ: 6900

Miya: 6600

[Naimo]

"That's one mighty monster," commented Crystal, glancing at the sea serpent that was movng in to destroy the Red Eyes. Dark Magician nodded.

[Queen-Dragoon]

Suddenly, his duel spirit, Jain, Lightsworn Paladin leapt out and said "Paul, beware... That deck cannot be trusted...". "Are you sure?" Aaron asked. "Look at Crystal." Aaron was astonished at the number of monster spirits surrounding her. "They're protecting her..."

[Naimo]

Crystal glanced across and saw Jain and Aaron looking her way. "I don't know why they're doing that, they just did. I've got a feeling your duel spirits might protect you in turn..."

[Assegai]

[[i wonder how the spirits will React when I use the Aztec Death Serpent God and Quetzalcoatl in another duel... Or maybe this one.[hr]

"That was lucky of AJ. But Miya can take him out on her next turn if he doesn't get rid of her sea serpent..."

[Assegai]

"Hmph. Alright. My turn is over, still. You're up!"

AJ: my turn (draws) first i'll activate my Heavy Storm (all face downs were destoryed) then i'll tribute my Red Eyes, and bring forth something stronger in it's place (suddenly a dark aura formed around the card AJ was holding) hmhmhm, now Miya say hello to the RED-EYES DARKNESS DRAGON! (2400) and due to his effect, he'll gain 300 ATK for every dragon in my graveyard so his current attack is 3300, however he's about to get stronger, becuase now i'll play my Dragon Exstinction spell allowing me to send 2 dragons from my hand to my grave, so now my dragon is at 3900!

 

(the dragon roared a roar that shook the arena) AJ: now darkness dragon, attack her serpent with Dark Flare Blast!!! (Red Eyes blasted the serpent)

 

AJ: 6900

Miya: 5700

 

AJ: i'll play 1 card face down and end for now

(Koga walks through the corridor, back towards the arena. As he walks, his amulet glows brighter and brighter, until its glare is blinding him.) "What the-" Koga is cut short as the light begins to take a form, revealing a series of images. A huge dragon soared across the sky, dominating all below it. On top of an Aztec temple, priests in white robes were performing a heart sacrifice. As they did so, they started to chant. "BEWARE THE WRATH OF THE GODS. THE DARKNESS OF THE POISONOUS SNAKE IS IN THE ACADEMY. THE FEATHERED SERPENT SHALL RISE." The chanting started off quiet, but became louder as the dragon in the sky descended, until the chanting was reverberating around his brain. "BEWARE THE WRATH OF THE GODS. THE DARKNESS OF THE POISONOUS SNAKE IS IN THE ACADEMY. THE FEATHERED SERPENT SHALL RISE!" As the scene cut to a mysterious figure draped in dark clothing, Koga began to lose consciousness. Finally, as the blinding light showed AJ putting a deck into his Duel Disk, Koga passed out.

"HA! I activate... Bothersome Fairies! Your Dragon loses 500 ATK, and mine GAINS 500 ATK from its own effect! You destroyed your own card, and you lose 500 Life Points from my trap!"

"Wait... Is that the deck that Nightshroud used?!"
