There's actual character development, the rival isn't just some monster, Team Rocket and the other villains are serious threats and do really villainous things, and the main characters are much better than the useless Ash. Also, it features a zombie Psyduck. Discuss the awesomeness of Pokemon Special. Or, alternatively, show that you're a stupid rookie philistine. Your choice. I love Special so much that I always try to buy the whole series to read them! Note: Since I'm in Singapore, they still have a production of them here.
