Secondly, I'm not directly taking something away or adding something, I'm posting a Deck List and the Deck Poster can change his Deck completely or take away bits and pieces. For Example its given me the idea to run both Honest and THunder King Rai - Oh which i will do Of course i can nethier use Dark Voltanis or Summon Priest at the moment. Tronta Posted February 25, 2009 Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 fair enough chevs, it was only a suggestion, after all. i was merely expressing my viewpoint on it. well, let me take a crack at this mess. im going to build off of chevs a bit:Monsters: 193 Bountiful Artemis2 Honest3 Thunder King Rai-Oh3 Van Dalgyon3 Dark Voltanis1 Breaker the Magical Warrior1 Chaos Sorcerer2 Summon Priest1 Sangan Spells:71 Mystical Space Typhoon1 Trunade2 Allure2 Tradein1 Monster Reborn Traps:141 Crush Card Virus1 Mirror Force3 Solemn Judgment3 Dark Bribe3 Divine Wrath 3 Forced Back/Drastic Dropoff/Black Horn of Heaven its a bit difficult to run chaos (im not calling this twilight) counterfairies, simply for the number of counter traps that must be present.ive included 2 new draw engines, allure and tradein, to help speed it up. i managed to keep 3 crush targets, but i had to drop an honest, as it only had 6 targets to work with.you might want to add it back in, possibly swapping it for that 3rd van. you might only need 2. 3 is there for the allure and tradein.the last 3 counter traps are your call. maybe main forced back, and side deck into other options like dropoff and the horns, depending on your opponent.also, i opted for trunade instead of heavy, as these fellas tend to like to keep their control of the mt field.albeit expensive, this is a good build to work with. Tronta Posted February 25, 2009 Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 if you read my post, i commented that honest at 2 isnt quite right, but he was brought there for the lack of lights. maybe drop van to 2 to support him.i dont see how allure and tradein arent helpful. tell me how main decking a tech card like dd crow simply to fill the crush quota is more helpful than draw power. speaking of tech cards, why does every deck need 3 books of moon, a smashing, and dd crow anyway? theyre good cards, but they arent monster reborn. this is what i meant when i told you that you seem to overload your decks with stapleish cards. we dont even know dark voltanis' effect, but lets assume its what the unconfirmed says. in this instance, more counter traps helps him as well as van.i amend my list to provide for 3 honests. tradein and allure provide a valuable draw engine. trust the guy whos run every variation of counterfairies imaginable, artemis is a BAD draw engine. its not dependable, its not advantageous, and it certainly wont be worth a damn with only 9 counter traps. 9's the bare minimum in a counter fairy deck, ime, but 12, if theres room and enough monsters to balance, is better.
